Thread: What can a Doc do when incapacitated?

I've been reading a lot about how Doctor skillls compliment many if not all combat classes. I understand how self-buffing and healing add to your ability to fight and remain alive. But I'm wondering what happens when a doc is incapped. Don't you become as helpless as any other character as you watch the incap counter tick down to zero while the creature/npc about to DB you gets closer and closer? My assumption is that a doc can not heal themselves while incapped and can not revive themselves when dead. Is this correct?

I like to squirm around in my chair. Then I jump up and down on my sit hoping somehow my idiocy will speed up the counter

The only people who can not get incapped/db'ed are TKM's with force of will and Jedi with several skills actually..

Master Doctors aren't "Talented" enough to Revive themselves.

That's a Jedi thing. They can revive themselves WHILE DEAD. Nice.

The main advantage of combining Doc with a combat skill is that we generally stay on our feet longer in PvE, unless we let our Mind bar drop too far. Docs can remove ANY state put on us, and blast ourselves with massive, one shot heals. That's the cookie.

I like to grab that quick bio break while my toon is napping, personally.

The ONLY thing that can save yourself from being DB'd after getting incaped is to use the Ring of the Hero.Oh yeah, or another doctor in the group. Hehehe.

If your wondering what this ring is..then i suggest reading up on the Hermit Quests. After completing all quests and talking to the hermit, he will give you this ring. The ring has 50 charges that let you revive yourself.

No....and the Hell you go through to get the Mark and the accompaning ring is enough to make you beg Lord Vader to vape Tattoine.

I like to look at the pretty cloud formations... Many a time I have seen a durni or a gubber or sometimes even a wookiee
