Thread: Skill tapes...
Can u use any skill tapes on clothes with sockets? Like if i had a +5 Polearm tape and i put that into my socket, whenever i wore that piece of clothing i would have +5 polrarm? do the tapes last forever or expire? Where do u get them(looting dead enemies and such is what i hear)? AND FINALLY: Do people actuall pay more for clothing with skill tape(assuming it would help them).
P.S.-Sorry for all the noob topics ive posted. Im just trying to learn how to be a good tailor.

You should be able to wear shirt, pants, boots, gloves, hat and belt along with the apron and bandolier (and all can be had with 4 sockets) - but I don't have an apron yet so I don't know about the shirt.
The lowest attachment is +1, but there are also some with negative numbers. No idea what these are supposed to do, but I just delete them.
Don't put the +5 experimentation in the bandolier if the bando already has an experimentation tape. You can't put two attachments of the same type in one piece of clothing (or armor). This is also true of clothing with built-in enhancements (like the apron) don't put an assembly or experimentation tape on the apron, or the tape will just disappear and nothing will happen.
Multiples don't work right. I put one in a piece of armor and only one of the stats showed up on the armor. The question is "which stat will show up".
Backpacks do have 4 sockets but you can't use them. If you try to drop an attachment on them, it just ends up inside the pack and not on it.
Lightburn wrote:ok thanks and you misunderstood me on 2 i ment whats the least i could have in the rest of the clothing i had so far.Ie i have 12 and i can say use 8 pieces of clothing it would be +1 but i could only wear 4 pices it would be +2 can u tel me?
Dude...
I'm very sorry but I can not answer this until you translate it into english.
Lightburn wrote:Sorry i was in a hurry.Ok i have +12 so far in my bandolier and apronsay i can wear 8 more pieces of clothing ok, i then get a +1 attachment and put +1's in each piece of clothing. So say i can wear 4 more pieces of clothing ok, i then need +2 attachments to put inside of each piece of clothing. So am basicly asking how many pieces of clothing can i wear with my banodlier and apron in numbers like 4,5,6,7?
Ahh. Well as I said, I don't have an apron so I don't know if you can wear a shirt with it (it looks to me like you can), but you probably can.
If you can, then you can wear 6 more items. How you break down the extra 8 points is up to you - 4x2 or 2x1 + 2x3 or whatever.
Or you could just find a +8, drop it in some boots, and wear just the boots, apron and bando and leave that sexy rump out for all to see.
does that stacking on clothing attachments apply to everything like polerarm 8 pistol 5 and say rifle 2 would only the polerarm work or would they all.
and what does SEA stand for?

If they were all three on the same attachment, only one would work. But if you had 3 sockets and the polearm, pistol and rifle were 3 seperate attachments they would all work.
Skill Enhancing Attachment.
