So I went to Loki to get some Lokian Wild Wheat to try making Advanced Biological Controller's. Well I get to Loki and start sampling. After following a vein for a few surveys I run into a wall of red name npcs that con anywhere from red to yellow to me. BTW I'm a Novice Doctor with Novice Pistoleer and these buggers still ganged up on me when I tried to squeeze between two group of reds to get to a better part of the resource vein. Well I finally get somewhere where the Resource density is at 28%. So I start sampling on the top of a hill surrounded by red named npcs. As soon as I go down for the first sample it comes back and says resource density is too low in this area. But I just survey'd and said density was at 28%. To me thats a better than 1 in 4 chance of getting a resource. But for it to come back and tell me that resource density is too low is just wrong. I guess I have two questions: Why does it say resource density too low when I just survey'd it at 28%? And why was I given the ability to make Advanced components when I was a novice medic yet here I am a doctor with novice pistoleer and I'm still a weakling on the planets where I need to go to collect these resources. Anyone have any suggestions on which Advanced Component resources are easiest to collect? I know tatooinian Fiberplast is easy but that Loki Wild Wheat seem impossible to me (

Lokian Wild Wheat is tough. You may have to go out with a group to set a harvester AND to go back later and clear out the hopper. Some Medics have actually hired Marksman to help them accomplish this. Just another money drain for the medic profession!

What's even tougher though is the Dolovite Iron. I don't think it even exists!

I've never had any problems setting up harvs or running them on Lok. Sometimes you just have to take a large detour around the red mobs.. as long as they aren't humanoid, you have to be pretty **edit** close to make them mad at ya.

The resource density too low is a bug, I'm sure that the wheat type had just shifted, hence that's why you couldn't sample it. Try again in 12 hrs and I'm sure it'll work.

Dolovite Iron showed up on Corellia about 4-5 days ago, not good stats, but useful for the advanced meds.

to be able to sample by yourself it need ot be 70%+

for a harvester there's no real limit...

Really depends on the server. Chilastra had double 900 quality class 4 petrochem last week or so.. I put in a lot of time to sample up 10k of it.

Hopefully it is enough to last me until the nerxt tiem it pops up.

Indeed, the only thing I don't ahve is lok wheat (because i haven't gotten around to going)... and Dolovite Iron. I haven't seen iron on corellia for a while, and haven't left the planet to look.

hehe, i found class 4 liquid petro chem on endor one time...was really happy cause it was 87% !!

well the next day i wanted to sample some of the good stuff, got a round trip for 8600 credits and noticed it was gone *argh* I hate those resource shift =(

Yeah, guys. If you mention you have a resource ot that it popped somewhere, please be sure to mentione what server you are on. Otherwise, how can we buy it from you if we aren't on the same server?

As for sampling, I've sampled in the under 12% range for grabbing a sample to see what something looks like. Of course you need to have Survey 4 to do that, though.

Everyone that plays on only one server should set his/her server in the profile button above. Helps a lot of people out, when answering questions about server specific stuff.

My suggestion to you is not to try to harvest all your own resources. Harvest ton’s of what you can harvest and then trade them for what you need with other Medics/Doctors. It’ll make your life as a Medic/Doctor a lot easier.

pfft, on lok right now trying to get some more wheat, sample some, 17 freaking quality **edit** is that jeez ive yet to get good quality but thats just outright nasty and class 4 fuel has been around though herb meat is hard to get in high numbers, and dolovite just appeared on two differenet planets.

Traigus have you seen any Dolovite Iron yet ? That's about all I am lacking on Chilly for setting up mass advanced production.

Unless it's moved I have 25k + of Class 4 P fuel from Corelia.
