Make there be an option that lets your charachter automatically tip for wound heals (and only wound heals).

1. Place an option in the "options" screen with a check box that says "pay tips for wound healing"

2. Beneath this checkbox place a sliding bar. When the checkbox above is checked, the sliding bar becomes visible. This sliding bar will adjust how much you tip per wound healed. It can be as little 1/10 credit per wound to as much as 100 credits per wound.

3. When a someone heals your charachter money is automatically taken from your on-hand cash and given to the charachter who healed you at the rate described in two. This would also tip entertainers that you are /watch-ing or /listen-ing to.

Phom, ninja healing aside, if you think that you should be paid more than a very small price for healing at a novice medic lvl, you're insane. No one will pay to sit there for 30 minutes to be healed... you'll get a "Gee... *yawn* thanks".

Once you reach Novice Doctor, you will realise this. Time is money. You just need xp now.

Back to the original post... Auto-tipping is probably a bad idea. I think people would use it, realize that all their cash is gone, turn it off, and never use it again.

Just my 2cr

Agreed. Phantom doctors coming in and healing people may be considered "bad" to a novice medic, but not to the person who is being healed. Since the person being healed is the one whos paying.. it works.

I disagree strongly. I can do one kreetle mission and get 1400 credits. Most people walk into a med center with a total of 50-250 wounds after a big night of fighting. Some people forget to clone and die a few times and come in with 500-750 wounds.

In the first case scenario your only going to pay 5-40% of a SINGLE mission to your healers if your tip is at 2cr/wound. In the second case scenario your likely to pay 100% of a SINGLE mission to get fully healed for thost 2-3 times you didnt clone (again, if your paying at a 2cr/wound rate).

Most doctors would agree 2cr per wound is a very nice tip. Most fighters would agree spending 5-40% of a SINGLE mission on healing is beans after doing a dozen missions.

Another thing: im not a doctor. Im a fighter class.

One of my biggest problems with tipping is that when i go into a med center with heavy wounds i DONT sit there and carefully watch who is healing me and tip them all equal to what they deserve. No.

I watch the screen for about 20 seconds and the guy who gives me the biggest heal gets between 250-750 credits depending on how many wounds i have. There could be SEVEN other novice medics healing me but ill tip the doctor.

If this program were implemented those novice doctors would get money for what they do instead of getting skipped over.

So what happens when a master doc runs in and starts ninja healing everybody with high level medicines whilethe only thing all the lower level medics, who can't heal very much or very fast, can do is just sit there and watch? The doc would be getting all the cash and leave all the lower level medics cashless.

Im extremely suprised this idea wasnt met with more enthusiasm. Hmm.. i guess doctors just like biching about tips, they dont like looking for solutions.

Oh well.

The med-center should pay one credit per wound, for heals within it's walls.

Another money-faucet, I know. But It's just money I'd make doing fed-ex missions anyway. And it might keep more docs in the center.
