Thread: Buffs vs Server Boundaries, FIXED ON TC!
Enhance Action D applied today after new patch on TestCenter. Shuttles did not remove it, nor did crossing city boundaries or traveling for 1000s of meters out in the boonies. I was even able to log to desktop, wait 15 minutes, and come back. This buff was like that battery bunny - it just kept going and going and going.
Oh happy day!
Died to test timer reset, no luck there. Lost the buff, and could not reapply until original timer wore off. Well, half a fix is better than none. This is still very good news, and progress. (*grins*)
Are HAM bars still occasionally bugged? I know buffs sometimes seemed to cause it but I've seen cases where they freeze on a non-buffed person for apparently no reason.

If you read the last paragraph in the original post, it states that Death is still causing problems for buffs. ![]()
HAMs are not freezing in this patch. ![]()
If you but creature pets and they are stored, they will lose the buffs still.
By the way, the "Group Medic Exp" for healing comrades is applied to combat exps, not any specific weapon type. Group exps has been broken on TC for several days, so I cannot tell you how many exps you get per healing done. Will fill you in after group exps fix goes in today.
Small update..the patch on Aug 6 on the Test Center supposedly correctly resets the enhance timers on death.
Looks like they are getting through all the actual "bugs". What will be left will be overall game mechanic and idealogical issues.
