Thread: Revive pack bug?
I almost killed a guy by accident today and I remember just enough from past readings to know it must be the revive pack bug. As I recall it had something to do with trying to do an enhance with no enhance kit present but with a revive kit present. In my case it took all 3 of his bars down to almost zero.
Can someone fill in the details on this nasty bug so I don't do it again by mistake?

It's the "Touch of Death" bug, presumably fixed on Test Center. Where if you use the /healwound command when you have no more woundpacks on hand it will actually use the resuscitation pack instead, in effect killing and reviving the patient.
Many of us just select a traget then double-click the specific packs we want to use from inventory instead, or drag our meds to the toolbar. It avoids that problem completely.
Ah, I did have woundpacks on hand though. But I'll bet it happens if you don't have the specific woundpack he needs such as constitution etc?
I've moved the revive pack to my backpack now and haven't seen the problem reoccur, but maybe I've always had all the right woundpacks since that one time. Not sure.
put the revives in your backpack, then you can generic heal wound till your hearts content
and when you hit revive, it automaticall pulls one from your backpack to use
