Thread: Buffing Prices?

Now that the TC shows that buffing is working past the city limits, I think we should set up a standard pricing for buffing. Being a former smuggler, the price variation for Neutron Pixie (the highest level spice) still drives smuggler mad because some can sell for 1000 while others sell for 300.

I've heard someone mention in a "How to make money as a Doctor" thread that a good price for a full buff before someone leaves the city would be 2k. I think that it is a reasonable price to buff Health, Constitution, Strength, Action, Stamina, and Quickness.

What do you all think?

no way maybe 2k-3k just for HP/Action, and i swear not many Docs want waste there time on buffing zillions of ppl around teh cloak with all buffs...

If i calc the time to make high end buffs and the time to gather the resources aka avian meat, i will just buff my friends since im making way faster money with my friens at missions than sitting at hospital and buffing ppl complete for 2k and im sick of those hospital camping

so Buffs will remain special i think and we wont see many docs sitting in hospital and yelling for high end buffs (im talking about D packs) maybe for the lower medics it can be usefull for exping and cash making than 2-3k for a full buff set seems oki for the B/C enh packs.

I would think 2k would be fair. Thats buffing all non blue stats up to 1700 +for up to 80 minutes. Once they remove the death / zone limitations it will be wonderful.

I think 2-3k would be a nice price (for D's though? depends how many charges they make too, I've only made B's so far) if you buffed all 6 stats, cause it doesn't take that long to do so...2k in 3 minutes of buffing, um, sounds like good money to me there Maybe on the 'dangerous/wild' worlds you could charge more, but since it's still temporary I don't think it should be that high.

No forced interaction (in an MMORPG?), but hey, the expansions sure seem forced.

Most people don't yet seem to even know the significance of our buffs. I've been throwing Action buffs around just to educate people

Yeah, I've found that I can get a lot of dancers to come outside the cantina so I can buff their action. A lot of the times they tip me a few hundred credits. I love how generous they are with tips when I know they get shafted.

It's like in real life... I've been a server before, so when I'm at a restaurant, I know darn well that they bust their butt, and 9 times out of 10 I will tip better than the average "never served in my life" person.

I charge 1cred per buff point. The problem is until the buff bugs are taken care of people won't pay for something so chancy.
