Hello...I'm a doc and I always find myself in the field grouping or running missions. So I'm wondering what kind of armor should I be looking for? I was thinking about the composite armor because its best for damage absorbing...but the encumbrance is pretty heavy. My friend suggest padded armor, which has lower encumbrance, then I talked to an armorsmith and he suggest ubese armor. Out of so many options, I'm not sure which one to pick. I'm looking for any armor that helps me last a few more hits (range damage usually) and helps me run away from mob (maybe least mind and action encumbrance?). Which type of armordo you elite doctor suggests?

I find that chiten armor serves me best because of the low mind cost combined with great protection from both kinetic and energy.

On this very page, less than one screenful down, is a thread entitled "proper armor for doctors/combat medics?". You won't get many replies here, because people already answered the same question from that guy. Good idea to check what others have posted.
