Thread: Revive timer?!? WTH?!?

Yeah, Ive had the same thing happen on a few occasions where in the midst of a huge battle you realize that someone has been lying dead on their ass for the past 10 minutes but too dumb to give you a tell asking for a revive.
Ok...
So a friend of mine dies a good way out in the wilderness while i'm on my way to his group. But stays on because I can revive.
Once I get there I try to revive him, but can't, and i'm greeted with something to the effect of " The corpse is too old, there is no hope of ressurection ". I swear it couldn't have taken more than 15 minutes to get out there since his time of death....
Does anybody know how long a corpse can sit before you can revive a person?
yea, i don't think its that bad, and to tell the truth you can't really complain about it, i mean how could you save some one that's been dead for 30min, got to make it a bit more real i guess, you should watch out how many time you have been incap'ed once you see your mind bar go down you need to run the hell back, make sure your always buff'ed you need to think smart so that dieing shouldn't be a prob for you, i hardly ever die anymore
but you might of just got unlucky with the time limit it might of glictched or bugged or something who know's?
i would be happy with a 5-10 min timer, just as long as it gives me eought time to recharge my mind pool from 0-1100 with 0 willpower and 0 focus i think the dev's should time that and set that has the marker
I think the timer is about 10 mins, not sure though. Some people are saying that its a few seconds and others are saying its a few minuets.
Either way, I understand the idea, but the timer needs some work.
Sure, limit the time players can be dead before being rezzed. But as it is we don't even really know how long we have to revive!
At the very least we need to know how long we have to attempt a resuscitation (5 mins? 10 mins? 3 secs?) and the fallen player should be notified when the timer runs out.
Well, I really think the timer stinks to begin with. The fact that the player didn't receive any notification that they were past the point of being revived just makes it worse.
Itthere hasto be a timer I think that the deceased should automatically release and clone the dead player either at the closest facility or the facility they last cloned at once past the time limit.
