Thread: master doc/medic questions
If you want to be a Master Doc, you still have to have all of the Doc lines, but you only need Medic 4-0-4-0 (the 2nd line in Medic has the CM ranged heals and the 4th line is the crafting line which is only useful if you're a BE). So I'd suggest dropping Master Medic and the crafting line at a minimum.

hi there,
could someone tell me, what lines in doc do you not need now (what skill points can I give up and not lose master doc) didn't they change some of doc when CU happened? I need to know so I can get more skill points from somewhere, and isn't there some of medic I can give up also? I am master doc/ master medic novice carbineer 2222 and I am running out of skill points, so I need to know what trees in medic and doc i can give up to free up some skill points....
thanks!! p.s. what prof do you think is better now? does doc heal more or CM?
That said, at the moment Master Doc isn't an appreciably better healing than a 4-0-0-0 Doc so if its just healing you're interested in you can get away with that. The buffs (from 0-0-0-4 Doc) are still useful for now, but they're not required for combat and the 0-4-4-0 Doc skills are you poison and disease resists/cures....have you been poisoned lately?
As for what profession is better in terms of healing, I think Docs have better heals at close distances. But if you keep 4-4-4-0 in Medic you pick up all of the Combat Medic heals and with your higher Healing Effeciency compared to a CM, you can currently out-heal them with their own skills (the improved and advanced versions don't mean anything). Now if you want to get into which profession is better for PvP that's something else entirely.
Anyway, I hope that helps.
