Thread: Move Current AB to MDoc?

I was thinking having 3 adrenaline boosts instead of just 2 (Adrenaline Boost, Improved, Advanced).


The current +40 Combat Haste modifier AB would be moved to Master Doctor. The basic and improved versions would stay where they were. Basic would be +10 Combat Haste, Improved would be +20.


I just feel that since this is our #1 buff, because it actually works WELL, it shouldn't be taken from us, It practically defines Doctor right now. Besides, this will lead to even more people taking doc just for the healing, (4000) which doesn't seem right, Doctor has little respect right now because of its healing capability. I guess overall we just need much better bonuses at master doc, ones that make an EXTREME difference in combat. Besides, the Devs said they are lowering adrenal boost because it is unbalancing? What is a buff? It is designed to give you an EDGE. They are meant to tip the scales in your favor, and unbalance a fight.


If AB gets lowered to be on par with the other buffs (which aren't that great at current levels, other than nutrient, and even then the advanced version is barely noticeable with regen), then doctor simply will have no worthwhile offensive buff.

Not a bad idea, but they aren't going to do it. They have all ready said +40 is to powerful a boost and they need to remove it.


I don't fully get that though, who is becoming to powerful with it? With diminishing returns a full combat build was likely going past any useful benefit at +40.


I think the problem is they made the mistake of giving to low an sac to certain weapons. You add a pud and speed boost and the weapon could dump out a lot of damage. Rather than fix the weapons, I suppose it is easier to lower the benefit from ab. However base on what I just said above I think this will have limit impact on full builds, so they still will be dumping out huge damage. At which point the devs might just removeab altogether.

I'm a master doc/tkm. My damage output is low to begin with... I shudder to think how long it will take me to kill something with a lower AB. Guess I'll just start combat then order a pizza
