It seems to me that people seem to rubberband when they die quite frequently... 4 out of 5 people I tried to revive yesterday weren't really where their corpses were rendered.
Now, I could ask for revive to have a longer range, but that probably won't happen... we probably have to be quite near the corpse in the minds of the developers... incurring the risks and all.
I could also ask that the incorrect positioning bugs be fixed as well, but those are long-standing problems that probably would have been fixed if they could be by now.
So, I'm going to respectfully request a sensible change the the revive skill that would at least make this problem tolerable...
Please move the range check on the revive command to before the warm-up, instead of after it. It is completely insane to have to stand there for nearly a minute to find out that you are not close to the actual corpse. At least if I got the clunk failure immediately, I could move around and try to guess where the corpse really is. This command has a hell of a warm-up timer and the odds are really good that when someone dies on the run that their corpse will be out-of-range from where it is rendered due to rubberbanding.
Has anyone else been having this problem?

As a Combat Medic, I've had to revive a few people but never have had a problem with rubberbanding. However, I agree that the failchecks for /consent, range, and all other reasons should be moved to the beginning of the zipline (besides movement on our part) because it's very disheartening to wait through the zipline to get "clunck" -Invalid Target- during combat because the person I'm trying to rez hasn't yet /consented me. If it would just cancel the interaction and finish all the cooldown timers immediately, it would be a great improvement to both Revive and Resuscitate.

A temporary "fix" for that rubberbanding could be to use drag incap on them before reviving. At least then you should have the corpse at your feet.
