I am a non - doc character and can't figure out how to reload my stimpack dispensing droid. Can only a doc reload this tyoe of droid?
Thx

These droids can only be loaded by someone with Organic Chemistry 4 in the Medic Profession.

Hey, if no one minds, I have a follow up question about dispensing droids. Can Stim A+'s be used in place of StimA's? I made some up for a guy once, but wasn't able to make it work...but there were some other reasons why it might not have worked right then (it was mostly, if not totally full of StimA's and I wasn't able to unload those), and I've never gotten around to testing it since then.
If not, then what good is the StimA+ schematic?
Anyone know?

Isn't it Pharm 4?

That's distressing...not unexpected, but distressing. At least I didn't use up any of my major resources for the limited run I did. Just a couple nice (quality) old resources that I'd harvested by hand over a year ago and hadn't gotten around to deleting. Maybe I'll sell them dirty cheap on the bazaar. Oh well.
Anyway, thanks for answering the question. I thought it was only fair that I bug someone in the forums instead of Ledao with my usual in-game e-mails (and yes Ledao, that's the plan......ehhh....is it working).

Just out of curiousity, what exactly does the droid do? I mean does it only dispense stimA's or does it heal you with them? What good are stimA's when even non-advanced stimB's are better?

It can heal its owner and anyone in the group.

Now take that info, add it to what else you know, and think about where we're heading. These droids might be more worthwhile later on...

At what point does it start healing? Right when you take damage or when you're down to a certain percent?

Yeah, I really haven't been reading many other professions boards other than the combat ones lately. I dont know howsome of the other correspondants came up with their sandbox testers but they have got to be the whiniest bunch of kids I've seen in a while. Now I just skim over anything new then go back to playing Counter-strike because of the constant posts of speculation as fact.

The droid does not dispense the stimpacks automatically .. you have to use the radial to request a stimpack (not the doc or owner of the droid, but the person needing heals). I have yet to have my droid heal everyone in the group, no idea where that came from. It can heal anyone in the group that requests a heal via radial menu.
Unfortunately, my droid is a nub and will store only 16 stims.
*sigh*
I wish I could store stim b's and not stim a's, AND a crate of 50 vs 16.
