I knew that would get people running.. here are my points ... please read them all and reply.. thanks!
WORRIED ABOUT BUFF NERF: All you who are worried about a "Buff Nerf"- its true, we don't have any concrete "evidence" that such a thing is emminent in the CU.
NOT WORRIED ABOUT BUFF NERF-- once upon a time, I was a Master Creature Handler.. then I heard about a little change coming my way.... by the time I was effected by it, the DEVs and SOE were hell-bent on destroying the profession to help "balance". That was so rediculous, and we all paid the price. I can count on ONE hand the number of Master Creature Handlers I have seen on my server (Scylla) in the last 6 months. Why? Because by the time the change came along, the DEVs were not going to listen to anyone else. You think it will be different with all the work they are putting into CU? Think again.
WHY NOT IGNORE IT?? If eviceration of the Buffing Doc is coming, waiting until public testing is going on will be FAR too late. So do I think it is going to happen-? Maybe. I am not sure. But will it matter if I complain about it once it is done? Look at SWG DEV history, and you HAVE to say NO. It won't matter at all.
WHY RANT ABOUT?? Getting DEVs and SOE aware of the incredible community of crafters and buffers that are relying on the buff as a means of life is the one possible way of telling them before its too late.

Do you really think they're going to pay attention to doomsday threads made by uninformed posters?
Do you really think the folks in the sandbox are going to let them screw Docs over?
Do you really think this is the same team that brought you the CH nerf?
The answer to all of the above is No.
Get a grip. It won't be that bad...

Agreed, there's no sense in spreading hearsay about something you have no evidence of. Everybody I've spoken with who is involved in testing, although bound by the NDC, has stated that they're looking forward to the changes that are being tested.

I dont really make my money buffing people anymore, it's handy to buff myself, but if they remove buffs it'll be 1 less med i have to buy. when it comes to pvp i find it annoying to buff everyone in the group, and i find myself sitting in the bottom of the base buffing everyone that died while i'd rather be out there healing /rezing/curing...
I wouldn't care if they removed or nerfed buffs as long as it would be possible to solo most content ... aside from elders/krayts/corvette/DWB and whatnot. If it returned back to it was after launch till buffs were introduced that sucked, you couldnt do anything without dying all the time
so my position DONT CARE
