Thread: TC Publish: Faster Healing (& Buffing)
- The total amount of time delay between Medic wound healing has been reduced to a third of the original delay.
- The minimum time required to watch an Entertainer before having a mind buff applied has been reduced from 2 minutes to 1 minute.
- Increased Entertainer/Dancer/Musician wound healing
- It nowtakes half as long to apply an Entertainer mind buff.
- It nowtakes a quarter of the time it used to take to heal Mind/Focus/Willpower wounds.
This will mean buffing will take one third the time for each person, since Doctors use the same skill mod as Medics do. This goes along the same lines as half the time for a entertainer buff, and a fourth the time for mind wound healing.
While this will reduce preparation time for combat players, I think Doctors will get the most out of it. Long lines won't stay that way as long (unless the demand is constant), and we'll get even more out of Bivoli if business is slow. I doubt a change like this would result in price changes, but I'm sure many people will be happy. ![]()
- Novice Medic - 30 sec between heals
- Master Doctor - 15 sec between heals (100 wound speed reduces base by 50%)
Example (Possible new System)
- Novice Medic - 10 sec between heals (1/3of the current system)
- Master Doctor - 5 sec between heals (100 wound speed reduces base by 50%)

Unless it's changed in the last day, it only applies to wound healing, not doc buffing. I tested it with my TC doc.
My TC character isn't a Doc, so I can't test buffing there. But as the other person posted, wound healing is the same as doc buffing. It's on the same timer and uses the same skill mod. I'll investigate further to see if this is working as intended on Test Center.

Buffing uses wound treatment speed mod so it would improve buff speed
I agree that it SHOULD, but right now it isn't. I have /bugged it, and reported it in the TC bug thread. The system messages when I try to buff before the timer is up indicate that it should be on the new timer. Hopefully it's just bugged on TC.

I thought the same thing, but on TC they are now working on seperate timers.
Update: I just tested it again, it took my master doc 5 seconds between wound heals (even with /tendwound) and 15 seconds between enhances.

I guess 3 seconds faster is better than nothing.
I can basically buff every 15 seconds on live. My macro hits the first 3with 15 second pauses between. I had to increase thethird pause to 16 to avoid skipping the 4th buff (must be a rounding issue).
