Thread: Healing Missions to make money
I know there are a ton of threads dedicated to the money issue Docs face. I just want to throw out another idea and see how it flies since I did not see it so far. If this idea has been proposed...sorry.
The idea is since almost all other professions have a way to do missions and get both xp and credits for doing them, why can't the healing professions do the same? Why can't there be NPC's about town, or in anothercity (more credits earned) that you get missions from a terminal IN the hospital (so you know when you are not needed you can go accept a mission), and go cure disease/poison/wound/enhance, whatever the mission told you to do. This way, you get both the desired XP and Credits needed like any other class out there. Have the mission end in a hospital so that you can continue to see if aid is needed. This keeps all parties happy. Why should Medical Professions do destroy missions when we are meant to heal. Isn't that against our ethics?
I think that doc specific missions would be great ideas...
the tipping issue is still moot in my opinion...if u are angry about no tips then charge for healing, it will be simple to do once diagnostics is out and u can see exactly how many woundsa guy has..just ill heal you for xxx credits...then we decides to pay or he doesnt...
that way you dont have to force everyone to pay or be paid...
but healing missions would be a great addition especially to lower level medics who need xp and money...but then again the money is the important issue...i really dont think med xp is hard to come by
