Thread: Multi-Stat Wound Medpaks

Hello,
Wanted to pass this idea past you other Docs out there.

Premise: Docs are supposed to be the masters of wound healing. To effect this, the devs gave Docs the ability to heal a LOT of wounds on one stat.

Observation: While medpaks that heal a lot (500+, 1000+) on one wound type are sometimes usefull, most players come in with small amounts of wounds to all 6 stats ( < 200 per stat). This means that a Master Doctor, in most situations, can't heal players particularly any faster than someone with say Master Medic or Novice Doc. (Ok, wound treatment speed allows you to use the medpaks about 2x as often or so). Still it seems reasonable that a Master Doc could heal up someone with < 200 wounds per stat in one to two treatments.

Proposal: Doc-only multi-stat wound medpaks that require high levels of Doc Med Knowledge to use. Body Medpak A/B/C/D, Vigor Medpak A/B/C/D. Body Medpak heals Health/Strength/Constitution, Vigor Medpak would heal Action/Stamina/Quickness. These multi-stat medpaks would restore wounds on the 3 assosciated stats for about the same amount that a normal medpak of the same level would heal to one stat. So Body medpak A Heals 20-60 Health/Str/Con.

A-level multi-stat medpaks would require Adv. Doc Med Knowledge (unless Ease of Use is experimented at which point the Med Use reqs would go down enough to be used with Intermed Med Knowledge. B would require Expert Med Knowledge, C would require Master Med Knowledge, and D would require Master Doctor. The Doc Med Crafting requirements would follow the same pattern.
