Thread: Stim D's factory crafting and selling, look at this.
Stim D's - Factory holds 100 items. talking about full all advanced stim D's and sellign them for 900-1k each.
organic and inorg = 2 items
leaves 98 spaces for 4 sub componets.
or 24 each. so you gotta unload and then load up 48 identical BEC's; 24 CRC's ; and 24 LS's. dont miscount or you'll come up short, well you will come up short anyway cause stupid factory sometimes never seems to finish the last one so.............
start factory waithours-till complete.
equals a crate of 24 stim D's yea 24. repeat entire process and you still dont have a crate of 50.
this doesnt include thedays worth of work getting thecrates of BEC's and thecrates each of the other two subs.
and getting the specific stuff and super OQ stuff and enough of it to do a run of it...
I really have never broken it down peice by peice, but off the top of my head here it goes...........
it has to be 100 parts per stim all broke down, thats just roughing it.
now considering these areall advanced,,,, which means 6 very SPECIFIC items , (not your 3cr/unit gemstone or ore) roughing it again at6CPU hasour cost at 600..
which leaves profit at around 300/stim if you sell for 900, acrossthatone run (if you include the subcomponat time it will take adayto make subs and final product. of 24 stim-d's
equals 24 * 3 = 7200, minusthe1500 for factory and say 500 for power. leaves 5200.
5200? .. (*oh did you make a trip to Lok to get Lokian wheat? that cost you 4800!)
if I go runmissions and make more that in 10 minutes.
no one has ever figured this out till just now? or do i have something wrong?

using advanced BECs in a stim D is a waste...identical components have their quality ignored and u get the same results...
besides if i did ever make a stim D...id sell it for 2500 at least..just for 1 packs
If I ever use Stim D's or even E's I use them only to heal pets. They're way over the top for healing a character. I can give a character a full damage heal with a good C stim.
I use E's almost exclusively.
I recently had a bad experience trying to factory produce them (won't be repeated). I normally only put a point or two into effect and the rest into charges. My Stim E's have about 50 uses each, 600ish effect. I use advanced LS's and normal components elsewhere.
I also have a few maxxed for effect. And yes, I use these on myself. When I'm out in the field I'll fully enhance myself and maybe even use spice/food, and my HAm'S are between 2-3k. Full effect E's are a viable option here.
I think this is rather important to do, since as we all know the doctor is the first to be shot.
Sadly, this means I log out A LOT, as my HAM's are inevitably frozen on a regular basis.
Agreed, Advanced components on a stim D is a total waste.
I can heal 1000+ with a stim C.
I have recently been contracted to supply crates of Stim D's for a creature handler. The actual resource cost for a stim D is not that much higher than that of a stim B, (and Idon't use advanced components in either case)but sincethe D's havea much more effective healingability you can charge more, thus having a larger profit margin on these meds (though I try to keepmyprofit marginsreasonable).
If you are using the factory method of removing items from crates and putting them in your input hopper then you are are having to work WAY too hard to create crates of stims. For that reason alone, yuo'll want to be driving up your prices. If you could eliminate all that hands on work though, then you mightnotfeel the need to charge as much. You may want to look at some of the factory threads on this forum regarding work arounds to get crates working in your input hopper. At least, it works for me and I hope it can work for you.
not really a doctor here but planning on gaining some doctor training
