Thread: Enhance Mystery Solved!

Enhances now work as intended, and they are subject to wound healing rules.

Quality of Camps now affects how well you can heal wounds.

Quality of Med Module on droid affects how well you can heal wounds.

Hospitals/Medical Centres give 100% effective wound heals.

*However*

Those little shacks that can be used to heal in are not Medical Centres. They count as Basic Scout Camps.

Houses count as medical centres now as well.

I have tested this theory and it appears to pan out exactly.

So there isn't a need to break out a Med 4 droid in a house to enhance people to the best of your ability?

Excellent news. Now there is a real benefit to camps and med droids.

I think the house only acts as a medical center if it's your declared residence. But I'm not 100% sure of that.

Curious what happens when you have a droid outin a camp or a med center. If the droid medical module is good but it's a basic camp, do you get the advantage of the droid over the camp? If the droid is in the med center, I would assume the med center effects being as good or better take precidence?

It's SUPPOSED to use the highest of the two (droid or camp). Droids in med centers don't add anything; you can't go higher than 100. However, some people have been reporting that taking a droid out in a med center actually reduces the healing -- which would be a bug, and would mean it's taking the droid over the med center. (And therefore it might also be taking the droid over a camp bonus.)

I just ran some tests, healing in a med center without my droid out, and With my droind out... With the droid out my heals were MUCH reduced... the droid's medical ability is overridding the Med Center's.

This is Confirmed.

Checked on this and Droids take priority in terms of what you use to treat wounds, even if you are in a hospital. So make sure you don't have a droid out while buffing or healing wounds.

Bleh. Thanks for the news though.

Forgive me for being clueless (I haven't been able to login yet), but are buffs no longer disappearing when you zone? That is, is it worth buffing someone in a med center?

Hopefully they fix it soon. I could see some mean people griefing this.. Just imagine, take a Med mouse out with a lvl 1 med module.. That would override everybody's healing who's around it and greatly reduce everybody's healing.

You couldn't grief with a level 1 module. It's only the upper level mods (4 and above, I think) that benefit others around you. All other modules are effective only for you.

(With the caveat, of course, that this is how it's SUPPOSED to work......)

I have also confirmed this. I have a lvl 2 med module droid (can't find anyone offering lvl 6 on naboo, radiant), and my heals in med center are SUBSTANTIALLY reduced if i pull out my droid

The droids not ONLY effect the ammount ofWOUNDS healed, theyALSO effect the ammount of DAMAGE healed.

I was healing some friends in the middle of town, using my handy-dandymouse droid(which i will now have to upgrade from) to heal themof their wounds. They then pulled out their pets that were badly damaged. So I I pulled out a Stim-E. Advanced Components. Fully Experimented. This thing is SUPPOSED to do some kick-ass damage healing. I've seen it do kick-ass damage healing. With the stupid droid out, I manged to heal the pets for a whopping....400 something damage. Followed up by the monstrous damage heal of...200 something.

Put the blasted droid away and WHAM, 1600+. Even a few 2000+ damage heals.

So be forwarned...don't waste your stims with your droid out.

My droid has a med rating of 110. So if I used him in the med center/camp it will lower or will it stay at the 110 of my droid? Was able to buff in the field for 1900-2k with normal enhance D's, no advanced compnents. Was very happy about that.
