2things that I think would GREATLY add to the Doctor class and its usefulness to groups.


#1 Fix First Aid or give docs a better version of it (preferably the later). Right now any bleed takes MULTIPLE first aids to fix. Why not give docs a High end First aid that is a guarenteed one shot fix.



#2 AOE Cure Poison/ Cure Disease - Okay so this last patch the Combat medics got their AOE Poison fixed. Whats the counter on this for the Mind Poison since it cannot be fixed? As I am sure many of you know, it takes anywhere from 3 to 5 attemtps to cure a high lvl poison, by which time your dead. Now again...THIS IS Area of Effect. Meaning the doctor can only save at most one person in his group. Give docs a counter to the CM attack for both Poison and Disease AOE attacks.



These would be great fixes for both PVE and PVP. Especially considering the latest changes.

As a CM I agree that docs should have a AOE counter for the poisons that is effective.

I agree. The only problem with it is that Doctors don't get the Ranged Healing skill. So, any AoE meds we get would likely be limited to point-blank AoE. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Just something that should be taken in to account during balancing.

That would be a good addition, although I'd say that it should be added with limits. The existing cure poision/disease packs should have at least an 80% success rate (for the highest level medicine in the hands of a master doc, anyway), and possibly even a 90% or 95% success rate. The PBAE cure poision/disease should have a significantly lower success rate calculated for each person in the effect radius, at least 40 or 50%. That maintains the purpose of the old single shot cures as being a reliable cure-all, and the AE would have a purpose in groups with four or so people in them that are all diseased or poisioned.


On the flip side of this, the CMs should have a single shot poision/disease pack that has the exact same success rate as the doc single shot cures, and the AE diseases and poisions should have the same success rate as the doc cures. Since on the battlefield these classes abilities essentially fight eachother, they need to be balanced against eachother.
