I just landed on Tatooine and discovered that the fiberplast there is pretty good for the first time in a while. I found an 82% concentration and then discovered that there was like 30 or so harvesters already pumping away.

I'm on Radiant so I was kinda liking the forced total resource shifts because then I would be aware of the shift and make a trek around to the various planets to see what was good. Now that the resources shift individually(as compared to everything all at once) i'm finding that I'm the last one to know about these shifts. Is there a site or something that is an easier way to find out what has shifted where besides traveling to every planet every day?

My current method is somewhat expensive but easier on the mind for me.

First, I have a schedule of which planets I check on which days, no more than 1 or 2 planets a day usually, some days none. When I go to that planet I check the harvestor, pick it up if it's dry, and sample anything new that's popped up. IfI see something good I survey for a spot.Sometimes I get lucky and do this right at a shift and get a brand new great spot, other days I find my harvestor has been sitting idle for 3 days. I try not to stress, and make sure I have enough money to cover idle harvestors.

Second, I look at the bazaars CONSTANTLY. If something has a nice quality, I may or may not buy it but I'll write it down and look for it.

Third, I am trying as much as possible to stockpile. It's not important to me to get every shift of Lok wheat, I just put down the harvestors when I think the quality is particularly good. Then I try to geta lot, to make it through the dry spots. My ideal would be to only mine 2-3 super good resources at a time, even though I depend on 10-20.

Fourth, if I happen across a bunch of harvestors I survey to see what they're harvesting. If it's good quality I will probably mine it even if I don't need it. Though as a chef I pretty much need everything in some amount.

I depend on word of mouth less and less as I have made selling meds into a business and people see me as a competitor. I used to use swgcraft a lot but now with the frequent shifts it's just too crazy to filter through.

When you notice one resource shifts check the ones important to you.

My BE was coming back from a windmill run. The wind had shifted overnight and the mill had to be reset. About half way back to town I paused (1km north of Coronet) and checked to see if fiberplast had shifted. When I opened the chem tool, I saw Class IV. My pulse raced. I popped survey and boing- I was standing on 91% of 900+OQ/ 350 PE Class IV.

My neighbors stopped beating on the wall about 5 min later.

Similarly, got off the shuttle in Rori. Popped flora and ran down the list. Domesticated Rice 999OQ/700+PE.

I carry in my pack 40k of energy, 2 farms, 2 PCE's, 2 Vaporators, 2 PME's. And make sure I have 10k cash min. Just in case. And it happens alot.

Originally, when I read the design information, I planned to just load up my survey tools each day and check to see what names changed. I'm willing to fly to a few planets each day to check a few tools...

However, I landed on Lowca, so for the first month or so, there were no random shifts. Then, I moved. My apartment that is, so I was away from game for 2 weeks. Now I'm stuggling to pay catchup and get my houses and factories back down on the ground where I want them, let alone harvesters. I need to put down my solar's first. totally out of power.
