Thread: Does it pay?
If you want to supplement your income, you can always take a few minutes, sit down, and crank out half a dozen stim B's. Just drop them on the bazaar for 1k each (or whatever the going rate is) and you'll have some extra cash in a day or so.
Unless you're dedicated, you won't make a lot of money this way, but it's a quick way to make a buck.
I am playing in bloodfin in Tatooine, Mos Espa, as a medic and im planning to be a doctor. also i am planning to open a clinic, but i need to pay bills for keeping the house. anyways, i wasnt sure how can i get enough money to pay even for a small house (about 300 creds a day). do doctors get that much money?
300 credits a day is a drop in the bucket for most folks. You can run a couple delivery missions for that price. So, can you make that much being a doc? Well, that depends. If all you want to do is get paid to heal people...maybe. It depends on your clients. If you want to make some medical items and sell them, then it's easy.
I've never tried opening a clinic. Most folks just head to the med center to get healed. I've thought about it a number of times but I just don't think it would work so well. For one thing, many folks wouldn't know it was there (at least initially) so they wouldn't go. Another thing is that you can often get healed for free at the med center (some folks tip, but a lot of people still see it as a free heal). And one more thing is that, if you put it out in the wilderness somewhere, any groups that come out that far are almost assuredly going to have a healer in the group.
I don't mean to rain on your parade at all. I'd love to open a clinic, but I just couldn't get past all of these things. If you want to become a med salesman, you're bound to get some folks in your door. Maybe the two could go hand in hand...
