Hello,
Well, I've been thinking about a small problem I have. It's a bit hard to keep track of my line when I'm buffing in coronet or theed, or some other busy place. It'd sure be nice to have my droid keep track of my line for me. I could tell my droid to /formLine. People could then click on the droid and /addMeToLine (or just /add for short). I could then click on the droid and /nextinline, and it would tell me who's next. What do you think? Probably never gonna happen - we can barely get devs to fix things that are broken lol. But seems like a good idea anyhow.

What I have started doing is making people stand in an actual line. I buff inside the coronet starport (it is my spot) right inside to your left near the flag, and I always make them line up against the wall. It has been the most successful thing that I have done, and has saved me a ton of headaches.
I usually have them line up in line and then move to them to buff, so they don't all have to move everytime someone is done. It has allowed me to treat everyone individually and be more personable. They are all waiting their turn and when people walk up they see exactly how long the line is.
Just a thought for you...

Hmmm, that sounds like a good idea, but depends too heavily on players cooperating lol. I have toyed with the idea of trying to get people to line up, physically, before, but it seemed like too much bother hehe.

Invite them to your group, and just go down the line, simple, yet works very well.

that would be the darn coolest thing EVER, please add it to the wish list! TOP OF THE L IST!
It could be in a personality chip!! It wuold be neat a protocol droid with a medical module and assistant personality chip or somethin.
I would love it. Would be cool if the droid spoke when you asked. You could teach a command "tell me who is next" and you could make the command what u want like "next" and when you said that the droid would speak and say "John is next in line sir!" and maybe it could have a few alternate ways of telling who is next.
I like to form an actual line, and I have no issues with people doing so. If your the only doc and you say "I only buff who is inline" then they have no choise really! I set my AFK to say "Yes I am buffing, I only buff those who are in line" when I am the only doc around.
What a cool idea, still would not solve the issue 100% cause then i would have to look around for the person if they wern't in line.

Ahh well, I hate to ask people to pay ahead of time. A couple reasons why: 1)As SWG is a game, something more important in Real Life might come up and I have to suddenly say "This is the last person I'm buffing, sorry." I don't want to have to try to keep track of refunding to people. 2)It makes it easy for me to keep track of who's payed if they pay me when I buff them (not everyone wants to bank tip, because they don't want to have to pay 5 percent penalty. . . although buffs are cheap enough that it's not a big problem). 3) Again, with refunds. What if someone decides they don't want the buff after all? Then I have to confirm they payed, and refund them, which I really don't want to bother with. I'd rather they just pay when I treat them.

the more I thought about it, the more I think we should be happy that players line up for our services
