I recently leveled up to 4-4-4-0 Doctor. My friend and I were both fencers and he said it'd be good for the guild and himself and me went 4-4-4-0 Doctor. My friend finished his template and he can buff on average of 1970-1980. I buff on average of 1770-1780 (1980 Action) My question is, how can my friend buff higher than me when we have the same template and same packs? I have +80 Wound Treatment clothes, and I seriously doubt my friend eats Bivoli everytime he buffs cause the only place i've seen it it costs 50k for a crate of 5 (2 uses each, +25). I also have my 110 Droid out.

So my questons are...

1) What else can I do to buff higher WITHOUT eating bivoli (I usually dont waste one unless I have 4-5 people waiting to be buffed)

2) Whats a good 90 Med Use pack? The ones I bought are 804-808

3) Whats the easiest/cheapest way to go up Doctor Crafting? And how long does it take?

1. Nothing except buying better packs. You already have the droid out, which is charged I hope, and BE clothing.
2. It varies but you could get up to 900 power packs at med use 90. But that takes some nice avian meat and possibly 11 exp points.
3. Advanced BECs give 84 xp in practice mode and take 18 Lokian wheat and 18 Tatooine fiberplast. I don't really remember how long it takes.

You can get nonBE bivoli that's usually around +11/12 to Wound Treatment and that's usually a LOT cheaper than the BE stuff.

You sure your friend isn't eating bivoli? When I use it, I buff for about 200 points more than without it...and 200 points is the difference between your buffs and your friend's.

Other than that, and the clothing (at least +25)...your med droid needs to be 110, and check to make sure your buff target does not have BF over 250. Also don't buff in basic camps, the med rating in those is lower than your droid's and will supercede your droid.

I think that's about it.

If your droid is grouped and charged, and you are both using the same power packs and both have +25, yet his buff is higher he HAS to be eating bivoli, case closed.

Skilling up the crafting is fairly easy, think it took a couple hours total making ABECs.

I was a master tailor priror to becoming a doctor so I had tons of tatooine fiberplast. Prior to being a master tailor I was a master artisan so before I gave that up I made 4 of each personal harvs.

At any rate, grab a couple personal floral farms the head to Lok. Take a shuttle from nyms to one of the player cities then hop on your speeder and fly around until you find floral harvesters. Place your first personal floral farm there. 9 times outta 10 youll find a decent percentage of wild wheat there. (Its about the only thing folks farm on Lok). Two BE4 farms will netyou about 4-5k wild wheat a day.

Two advantages to this...Firstly, if your on a budget its cheap. Secondly, it splits up the crafting time by limiting your wheat supply....straight crafting is painful...literally.

Anyhow thats how I did it.

Does your droid NEED to be grouped with you?

I don't think so, but I just do it.

It took me 3 hours of solid crafting to get 4 on the crafting tree. The hard part was getting the resources.

Use the formula to compute exactly how much you'll buff for.

buff pak power * ((medical rating/100) * ((wound treatment mod + 100) / 100)) = buff amount.

It is not that complicated of a forumla.

With a medical droid your medical rating part is 1.1

Also your clothes cap at +25 wound treatment.

Sometimes wearing more clothing and exceeding the cap will cause them to not function at all... find one piece of BE clothing thats +25 and wear that.
