I have heard stuff about medics/doctors being able to heal themselves very quickly durring a fight but it always takes forever for me to heal myself even if i only have one thing queried and im a novice doc. the way i heal myself is by putting a stim in the toolbar and just hitting the hotkey. any help would be great thanks!

there's always the following macro:

/peace;

/healdamage self

Empties the combat queue and heals yourself without ever changing your current target.

if you have a lot of attack moves qued up, then it wont heal until the que clears out. The heal is part of the combat que, even though its not listed

clear your que or use something like the above macro and your heals will be much quicker

Theres a medic/doctor(cant remember where the skill is)quickheal aswell. Although Ive never experimented with it enough to see if its any good in battle. Should drain enough mind to make it useless tho. Could be a lifesaver maybe, so thanks for this post bringing it back to memory Gonna check out if its any good.

/ui clearCombatqueue;
/healdamage self;

That will remove all your queued commands, and heal straight away.
Not sure on the spelling of that command, but it is something like that.

This is pretty close to what I have set up as my combat healing macro. Except I left the 'self' off the /healdamage. This allows me to run around and heal others in the group by clicking on them and hitting one hotkey. If you are targeting an enemy while in combat, it will default to 'self' for the heal.

Just as a follow up. I don't think QuickHeal does anything with respect to the combat queue. I think it is supposed to be one big BANG that is supposed to take care of every wound a person has, but it inflicts a ton of wounds on the healer to do, and I have never found it worth it.

/quickheal is just a heal that uses no stims.. it causes mind wounds and BF to use.

Don't forget to get +25 injury speed clothing, it will help in addition to the combat Queue (which we are still pushing from the last top 5).
