Thread: Player City Medical Center

I'm about to get one for my city.

I just need some clarification.

What is the pc med centers rating.

If I buff inside it with my droid out, which rating wins.

If the answer is the droid, are you telling me I need to walk outside in front of the medical center with my patient and buff them outside?

Is there a registration bonus in the player city medical center?

Whats it good for?

The rating is 100.

Last I checked, all locations overwrote droids (yeah you have to go outside).

Yes.

No, player city registration is the same a NPC registration, it exists just to tell people on the planetary map that there is a doctor there.

It looks kinda neat on the inside...

So, no you don't have to go outside to get the benefit of the 110 droid. I have done the same test in camps, with the same result. On the converse, I don't know if the med center's rating will negate a lower rated droid, because I don't have any below a 110 rating.

That's sweet news.

Now, on to that registration bonus...(

Oh yeha, I just read the other guys comment, yeha I think you did the test wrong...

You effectively buffed yourself at a 100 medical rating WITH and WITHOUT the droid inside, i think...

It either is Droids > location or location > droids.. all camps, hopitals, medcenters etc = locations.

It has actually switched a few times. It is possible it is a bug of some sort... Or it may be intentional, now that you never see a 45 rated droid anymore. At 1 point people were parking 45 rated droids (newbies who manted their craft station available) in med centers, and messing all sorts of stuff up.. So the devs flipped it to locations > droids. I haven't seen a less then 110 droid for many months now...

Actually T, I tested this the first day publish 7 went live. The droid's rating does take effect even in the med center. My test was to buff myself with the same pack both with and without the droid. So, no you don't have to go outside to get the benefit of the 110 droid. I have done the same test in camps, with the same result. Shouldn't the test actually be with the droid IN and OUT of the MED CENTER? My understanding is that location overwrote the droid.

I have done every combination. The bottom line is this: with the droid in ANY location, I get the +110 rating in effect. In other words, the droid always supercedes the location.

I remember that too. It was very frustrating to use wound C's and get smaller heals than I'd become used to with B's just because there was a med droid nearby. I've noticed lately though that I can only heal with my own droid out. If another doc or medic has a med droid right next to me (and we're not in a stucture or camp) I can't heal or buff with it. That may have been the devs latest solution to the problem.

I still haven't tested this with a low rated droid (don't have one, don't want one) but I am certain that my 110 rated droid works regardless of location (except of course in locations where wound healing is impossible). It's very easy to verify this if anyone else would care to do it.

Actually no, the test works just fine the way I did it. I got a higher buff with the droid than I did without it. The buff I got with the droid was exactly what I calculated that it should be with a 110 rating. As I also have buffed with that same batch of packs outside, I can also say that the buffs in the med center with the droid were the same as those with just the droid. Also, I tested the registration, and it gave no bonus either way.
