Thread: Warning about Registering in Hospitals

For those who dont know, at some point you get the ability to register your location on the planetary map when you are occupying a hospital. (I think it's at master but i cant remember)
This helps people find doctors while using the planetary map, star symbol near hospital name=doctor present, moon symbol=no doctor...well...
People have been noticing this isnt always accurate, sometimes you will see the sun symbol and find no doc present, bug? nope...
It happens because doctors are logging out WHILE REGISTERED, so the symbol gets "stuck" on "sun"(present)...until that doctor logs back in and leaves the hospital (or unregisters)
Until they fix this glitch...PLEASE, try and remember to unregister before logging.
We want hospitals to be more useful, and the planetary map/registration thing REALLY helps, but people are gonna start getting pissed and not using it.

Yeha, that happens all the time.
I was wondering what was up with that.
I wonder if the devs know about that.

As soon as you leave the hospital you unregister so that would be fine.

Well, if you leave the hospital, it auto breaks your reg to that building...

From what I understood, in NPC towns, it's the way you describe it, but in Player Cities, for some reason, it's reversed. So, you get a moon for a player med center with a registered doc, and a sun for one that's empty (or at leastno one is registered).

Yeah, this thing has been buggy since PCs came out it seems, fixing this would make player hospitals semi-useful at least...

Just bumping because I think every tool for the Doctors is important, and fixing and understanding registration will help the Doctor community as a whole.
