I say the idea is just plain silly.
What I don’t like is the fact you’re calling yourself a representative for the doc’s community, especially – as far as I can see from this topic – you’ve only had the backing of one person, which is hardly the entire community.
this is why i posted it here first.
and you can say plz dont, or i do not agree, rather than riddicle my sincere effert to actually do something about somehting that from many posts i have read here, do bother many players.
like i said, i personly am fine, and have countless times not only healed players, but i also sometimes tip noobs out of the blue. i dont need the cash , a ty is enough for me. but in many posts doc's complain about the non-thanks they get, or the fact that they are not tipped.
it is alway easier to sit and poke fun , that get up and do.
My thoughts here. I don't really care one way or the other if you post. I'm behind you if you want to remind people that other professions need a little help too (i.e., tips for services).
However, I would venture to say that maybe 10% of the people you see on the game actually read the forums. That's just a guess. So, post all you want. I don't know how wide your audience is.
Maybe one of the lurking community elders has a better idea of number of active subscribed players versus registered/active forum users.
Sorry, we must have got our wires crossed somewhere Zaax.
While my post was more harsh then it needed to be, in no way, shape or form was i trying to make fun of your idea. You asked for people's opinions and i gave you mine.
I agreed with some of your post - like i said - i just didn't agree with the way you presented it.While you might have heard a lot of people throughout the fourm calling for us to be more appreciated, you still don't have a right to post on behalf of the entire community. Whether or not it was taken from other people as well, ultimately the message you want to post on the boards are your opinions, not the entire community's.
