I happen to come across a couple injury treatment speed clothing attachments for really cheap, and I thought i'd give it a try to see just exactly how fast I could heal. I am a master medic so my injury treatment speed is +75. I applied the two clothing attachments so that it is now +89
I took out my trusty stop watch and begin timing the moment I see the message that I heal someone, and I stop the timer as soon as I see the message that i'm ready to heal again. Now it's always gonna be a few tenths of seconds off but heres my results.
10 heals without my attachments at +75 injury treatment speed
4:80
5:02
4:69
4:53
4:52
4:95
4:56
4:97
4:71
4:71
MEAN = 4.74 seconds
10 heals WITH my attachments at 89 injury treatment speed
4:93
4:52
4:56
4:86
4:68
4:99
4:87
4:82
4:39
4:81
MEAN = 4:74 seconds
As you can see there is NO difference between the 2. So I am assuming injury treatment speed caps at +75
Yet another worthless skill enhancement...

I think this has to do with a recent bug that made damage healing spamable. It seems the fix was to put a minimum healing delay in. That means there is now a hard cap on injury treatment speed.

Most likely, that is exactly what happened.
Which is why I hate minimum timers...

Well I contacted a CSR monkey and he said the skill was working. So you're right they must have put a cap on it...Yet again another worthless skill enhancement.

injury treatment speed = stims
wound treatment = buffs and wound kits

though you may be right on the min speed cap, there's used to be a min cap on how quickly the 'you can heal again' message popped up. Even though it took the message 15 seconds to come up (or whatever) you could actually heal every 10 seconds.
I'll assume you were using stims, since that's what those attachments were for. You may want to try spamming the heal button and timing the actual heal speed, rather than timing how long it takes the message to come up.

I'm looking through the posts, but I can't find it... What is your point? There was no mention of wound treatment speed in this thread, until you posted it anyways...
Good on ya orig. poster for doing this research... tho honestly I've always viewed injury treatment speed beyond master medic to be a waste anyways since I've yet to encounter a time I needed to heal faster than Master Med ability considering I can use the best stims [which I do, self crafted Es]...
You might consider, if you can, dropping Medic down the speed line and seeing if the speed tapes make a difference when you are not at +75 already...

Satis is correct, the time you're allowed between each heal is less than the time between each message (meaning the "you are ready to heal" messages). I used havla for the first time over the weekend and never asked "how" to use it. All I did was kept pressing the button on each enhancement till the person was buffed and moved onto the next person. I never timed it but watched for the messages. Sometimes I was able to do 4 to 6 enhancements before the "you are ready to heal" message appeared. This could be how the speed tapes would work also. I don't have a stop watch or speed tape so maybe someone else could test this theory??
