How much would it cost to go from 10 Point to a 12 Point doc?

I got an estimate from someone that said 30million.

Also is it worth it? will i make enough money to cover the cost of the CA and AA's.

I saw someone buy a suit for 16M a couple months ago though

Bases on your server Doc's aren't very competitve huh? On ahazi we have doc's in every city...You can't find a planet without a doc buffin in a starport. I bought my 12pt doc suit a while ago it was +15 in a belt for 35 mil. I also paid an additional 10 mil for +20 assembly....

Actually there's more 12 point doctors then any other crafting proffesion on our server I think

When it comes to eclipse, we've been extremely lucky when it's come to doctor resources. I don't think we've had a dry spell when it came to any doctor resources.. Although our avian meat prices keep on climbing

I was very lucky when I bought my suit, It was right before JTL was coming out and alot of people thought the ground game was going to suffer economy losses so some nice person sold me a +20 Experimentation / +20 assembly suit for 20M I probably got one of the best deals on our server when it came to my suit

Well, question also is: Is it necessary to be a 12pt doc?...

You did.

But you're our Eclipse angel (Verified by two other docs BTW) so you deserve it....

Currently on Eclipse skill tapes are selling for about 1.5 mil per point. I suffered a loss as I purchased a +2 artisian Exp/+2 Med Exp and the artisian is what stuck... OUCH! I'm at +17 and it's cost me a small fortune. We do have at least one break (if one could call it that) in that we have a player who camps the best loot sites and takes all the good stuff. However he sells is brutally cheap, which does help, if you are comfortable benefiting from a "camper."

As far as if it's necessary, I'd say it depends. If you're buffing for yourself, then no. If you want to be competitive in selling buff packs, then yes, I'd say it's near mandatory in order to get your edge.

Too bad we can't sell our schematics off our data pads eh?

As long as Avian is selling for 100-200cpu, I won't sell buffpacks, cuz I have to buy the meat. Even IF I had the money, I won't. I do not support crazieness.

For me, it's not necessary to be a 12pt. doc selling doc stuff, except buffpacks. If I really need a 12pt. doc, I'll ask one to create a schematic for me...

That was my other question. If u spend 20 mil getting 12 pt. Will u make all that money back making buffs?

Depends on how much packs you make and how developed you costumer-base is. (If you make buffbacks for your own it is pure wastage) - For the beginning i would invest all the money in resources(!) and borrow me a 12pt suit for Adv. Bio-Controllers and buffpacks until you have enough to put some money into a 11pt. suit (that is easy to get, because you need only +5 med exp. with the apron).

11 pts. are enough to make decent stuff! Once you have gathered enough money you can think over spent some on your way to 12pts. But it is not really a must have. 11 pts are really nice - 12 pts are luxory.

And never ever spent any money on medicine assembly! It is total useless.
