Thread: Doctor Crafting. Help/Advice, anything!

So im master doctor and I have a +16 MED EXP CA, so im pretty much a 12 point doc. Now, YES i can craft good buffs the only problem is I have about 500k total. Any tips on how I can achieve profit with this small amount of credits to begin with? lol

First, the +16 CA will only give you +1 experimentation. So you'd only be an 11 pt doc.


Second, with 500K, I'd just go buy some buffpacks and do the starport buffing thing until you got a mill or two. All the while keeping an eye on the resource spawns and getting the best of whatever you can find.

Personally I'd invest in a few medium harvesters. Minerals, Flora, chemical, and possibly gas, and water. Then I'd keep an eye on swgcraft to see if any decent medical resources spawn. If you mine your own resources you'll be saving a lot of money in the long run. Ya and do the starport buffing to make credits for now until you can buy some old resource spawns to start your doctor business.

i for one would not do the line buffing for creds... you won't earn much after you shell out 16-24k per pack (dependent on server prices)... if you have any combat i would just do missions, yes you get less per but in the long run you get more creds for time spent (better return on time investment)... i would definately invest in harvesters (heavies) and hook up with an artisan to get you WPs... are you guilded?? if so ask for help, if not find a guild that is willing to help you with the WPs on good resources and laying down of harvesters and hunting...it really makes being a Doc much more fun and helps out...just make sure they don't take you for granted as a Doc and become a buff bot for them... no fun there... my .02 creds worth...

when i started out , i was making crappy stim Bs b4 i even mastered doc, with stuff i sucked out the ground with personal harvesters, selling half rate stims at 25k a crate, they soon sell

I have a question, i'm also new doc. I only have a +5 exp/medcine assemly apron, what points am I at? Please let me know.

+1 = 0.1 of a block n experimenting

+10 = one block in experimenting (11 point doc)

+25 = maximum

+25 = only 2 blocks in experiment (12 point doc)

Does the +25 do anything over a +20?
