I play my Doctor nuetral. He does not care about factions and only wants to heal any who need it. However it seems that every once in a while I run into someone I can't heal because the systems says it would be "Unwise".

How do I get past this?

Join a faction, that is why you can't heal these folks. They are either TEF or Overt members of a faction.

Oh.. and I don't think there is any other way to get around this. TEF only lasts about 5 mins, so maybe wait for it to go away, the assist them. Overts there is no way around it.

The unwise is based on their current faction status. The only way to heal someone that has that system message response to your healing is become a member of their faction.

This can be a pain, but there's just no good way to deal with it (at least not that I know of). The problem is that, if you allow someone to heal someone of a different faction (even if the healer is neutral), there are ways to exploit the system.

So, for now, you just get that message - you can think of it as, "You can not heal this person as he/she is of a different faction."

Neutral can heal:
1. Neutral
2. Non-TEF Rebel
3. Non-TEF Imperial

As an Imperial I can heal the same as above, plus Overt Imperials. The same applies for Rebel Docs.

Even if my character wasn't based on an Imperial Doc, I would still probably choose a side to be able to heal more people. Sure TEF can be a pain when you heal an Overt, but I have always played as a healer of all factions as long as they behave themselves. Of course I can't heal Overt Rebels, but I still politely tell them I am unable to heal them, and in fact it might lead me to a fun conversation trying to get them to switch to Imperial.
