I'm not a Doc, but my friend plays one. He has no crafting skills, but high med use... I'd like to buy him Rez Kits before the next big hunt, but I'm wondering if its any better than the relatively cheap Cloning? Are there any drawbacks like wounds (like Cloning without stored data)? I assume there is no decay associated with rez... I hope.

Rez is good!
- no decay on items
- no running back
- lots of med xp
All in all it's a lifesaver, no pun intended. ![]()

Just to add some more info to this, the rezzed player takes no additional wounds (the wounds they got before dieing are still in effect), and there is like a 1 minute timer wherein you can't do anything at all, except walking around (can't even sit down, at least when last I played in October. . . I assume none of the rez gameplay details have changed).

I also seem to remember that the ratings on your buff packs apply to wounds a character may have. Meaning that with really good Rez packs you can heal most wounds that a dead player has accrued. I remember it affecting the mind wounds too.
Its been a while since I compared pre death wounds to post rez wounds so I could be way off base.

Yes actually in this day and age of Muon and such I have on more than one occasion repeatedly rezzed the same person over and over. Meaning he dualed a CM who poisoned his health and DBed him, I rezzed healing at the time 100+ wounds with the rezz pack. Thsi was because the disease packs ran out and no one wanted to head back to an outpost yet. Of course there were also no entertainers.
