Hello,
Well, I haven't played since October. Got an email the other day that said my account had been reactivated for 14 days. I've spent a little while here reading over some of the correspondent threads (like the top 10 issues vote thread, and the dev responses thread, as well as the thread about the things that were fixed). It appears to me that most of the outstanding problems from 4 months ago are still there, and that the devs have done little to fix them?
It's really quite disappointing how long it takes the devs to fix glaring problems in the game (like, e.g. healers not getting faction points for healing, but getting TEF and all the negatives with no positive to reward it). PLEASE tell me things are getting better?

People have realized how great buffs are. And we can still ignore those who try to jerk us around. Yes, problems are still there, but we are one of the least broken classes. We'll get our turn.

Doctor has not recieved that much attention because:
- Our proffesion is relatively functional. We have a decent amount of content and skills, and while we have a few problems, chiefly with the variation of Buffs, and buff timers, we are for the most part just fine.
- There are other proffessions with many more problems that need much more attention from the Devs (DE, Smugler, Ranger, etc). These guys get more attention because their problems are more game-breaking.
- The devs have spent a lot of time getting the core systms in the game functional and balanced. Cities, vehicles and mounts took up a most of the development time from last year, and the first quarter of this year will be spent getting general combat and the GCW working and fun.

Overall, I should add that the game has come quite a ways since launch, and the future looks only to get better with the combat and GCW improvements

With the Vehicles and Cities out, the next publish will have a ton of bugfixes.
We are still pestering to get to see them before they hit TC (Soon [TM]).
Things are ramping up.
The processes have changed to give players more imput over the long run.
A lot of things have been fixed for various professions, even a few things for Docs.

I would add that the Fixed Issues thread (in the stiky section of threads here, still) lists a good number of the primary fixes we've seen for Docs since around that time.

Yes I as well have NOT BEEN BACK HERE SINCE OCTOBER.. but i still posted and checked into the website but not landed on any planet as of yet. Although I did check the holo and my first profession to get FS slot is Master Armorsmith.
But really, what has changed? I am Master Doctor and Teras Kasi Master, so which should I give up first gradually as I venture into Master Armorsmith?
What about mind buffs, have they done anything about that??

Mind Buffs?
Dancers can buff mind, Musicians buff willpower and focus. The best of which are done by masters.

Well, sounds like things are generally headed in the right direction. Thanks for the feedback all. I still haven't made up my mind if I'll reactivate my account or not after the 12 or 14 or however many days that they reactivated our accounts for free.
Umm, as far as the earlier person who was talking about still checking the boards while they weren't playing. . . I thought when your account was inactive, you couldn't access the SWG boards? I did occasionally check the main website and saw the announcements that cities and transportation were in.

There are a lot of people popping back in. There is a "call-back" program running with.. I think 12 days of "please come back" free reactivation of accts.
It think they did it 1 month early. The Imperial Crackdown publish coming to TC very soon (TM) would ahve been a bettre opportunity IMO.
