I was one also..I did mine in the AH cantina on tatoine, but that was before player cities so I dont know how that will be.

You can't heal wounds in a cantina anymore...only damage.
Group hunts are easily the best way bar none (for legit, fun XP)
Essential to this I've found is to first create a heal macro.
Mine is (I think)
/peace
/healDamage
/healDamage
This is for just basic healing, no state heals or anything. You need the peace in there else you heal will be delayed (it'll be invisibly cued up in your combat que)
The reason I have 2 heal damages is that range for a Doc healing isn't amazing, so to account for your target running about and lag, I have 2x /healDamage. Because there is a delay in-between heals you will not use 2 stim packs on them. You'll get the "You cannot heal for another xx seconds" warning but I don't mind it.
That Macro has made me so much more efficient
I also find that if you are in a big group that setting your Field of View in the settings will help a lot (especially if you are running on a lower resolution like me) As a Doc in a group my eyes barely leave the health bars of my group-mates. As soon as their HAM bars are at 2/3 or so I click on their names in the Group List, and spin my camera about till I see them. With the Field of View at Max you will find it easier to see them.
Another little bit of group advice, advise people to stay still if they are taking damage, and try and get the group to stay as close together as possible (especially if you are the only medic in the team) This will mean you can heal everyone a lot quicker.
Finally, I suggest you pick up Terrain Negotiation skills, found in the Scout tree (Exploration) and the Combat Medic tree (CM Support I think) This will help when you are running towards a team mate that is in dire need of a heal.
Good luck with getting the Master Doctor title

I would suggest finding some groups to hunt with and just heal people in the field if you're looking for a more legitimate experience.
There's an exception to every rule! ![]()
Forgot about that one. Do you have to stand in that elevated room with the beds though or can you heal wounds from anywhere in there?
I earned 95% of all my medical xp from healing other PCs. (grounded out the last two boxes of one catagory, not apologizing but it made sense at the time). Most of my medical xp came from stim packs out at fort tusken. I loaded up an entire quick tool bar with different levels of stims and ran like mad to anyone that need healing. I burned through a lot of packs but made some good friends in the process. A dedicated healer should always team up with groups going to dangerous places.
You might consider buying a good set of armor not to wear all the time. But in an emergency throw on the armor so that you survive you are the last hope that some characters have before being sent to a cloning facility. Even if you can't heal an incapped you can draw fire so that they are not db'd. and can live and fight again.
