Thread: Bug with advanced chemical release duration mechanisms in factories

I'm starting to wonder if it's just me, but it has happened to me 4 times so far in the last weeks, and only with those components... I make runs of 650, 1k, whatever, and I always end up with 1 or 2 more components than the schematic size.


Has anyone else witnessed this? It's no big deal at all but it's just really weird... And the mail always says the number it's supposed to be without taking the spare ones into account.

Take them and run lol.


I don't really pay attention to what comes out of the factory, so I honestly don't know what to tell you. Maybe it split a crate of something to that effect. Might wanna check that, otherwise I dunno.

No, there is all crates of 50... and a crate of 1 or 2, lol.

I've had this happen to me while making stim b's once. It was a few weeks ago, the daily server reset didnt happen at the normal time and about an hour and a halfafter it was due the servers went down with no warning. When they came back up I went to check my factory and there were a lot of small crates in there with 1-3 stims in them (about 70 extra stims in total). But my factory still had the resources to finish its full run. The server was on the loading stage for ages, about the same time it would take to produce those 70 stims.




Am guessing that as things start to load it starts producing items again in the factory, if something interupts the loading proccess then it starts again, back from the data it saved while shutting down. But for some reason it has saved any of the items it produced in the time it was loading, which in most case would be 1 or 2 items extra.




I may be wrong with my guess as to what causes this bug, but it may be worth looking into.

I always have them running overnight, but it only happens with ACRDMs.

I don't have the materials for Advanced releases ATM. I'll try to reproduce on TC and Chilastra this weekend.

I have had this happen with all my runs of 1000. I don't mind, it lets me make 1000 stims instead of 999.

Itmay just be server lag, not a bug. Haven't found anyone who can reproduce this on demand in any crafting profession so far.

This happens to me with ALL components once in a while, not just ACRDMs. I think it might have to do with stopping/restarting the factory in the middle of a run. I notice that it seems to only happen to me if I stop the run in the middle to pull some resources out of my factory. Never had it happen with final products, tho.
