ya I know what you mean..seems to me (just got master doc) there alot of trouble in getting good resources...Too much trouble I'll just save my buff for myself and close freinds....I can run 10-15k missions in an house make same money with less hassle...

see, feed the system. find someobody to make u buffs, someone who just does that for profit, then sell ur buffs. I bought 10 sets of all 6 for 500k and i figure wit buffing my friends and i whenever i want, i will still make 500k profit. this sounds like a perfect way to make money and enjoy the profession to me

plus, when u buy buffs from someone, u'll get extra good ones, and u can charge more than 5k. I charge 6, and i have had about 2 under 1k. most average over 2k

heck ya.. I am having a blast selling buffs and playing nurse until the bad buff... Once the bad buff hits I'm done. Its so freaking embarresing. Earlier today I buffed for the first time and I was hitting all 2-3k and then I started getting all 1ks... I almost asked this person to let me kill him so I can redo his buffs I was so ashamed.

I hate how they are random. Really irks me to the point doctor isnt even enjoyable. Oh, I just got doctor too. Took me a night and a half to go from novice medic to master doctor. Its fun for the most part, but them icky buffs are just too embarresing.

I think your out thinking the process a little bit. I'm a Master Doc / Master BE. So yes I can harvest, but I can't even kill a Fynock much less anything else that requires me to enough meat for buffs. I have absolutely 0 combat skills. If you can't run harvesters for your buffs your just straight up lazy. Even with a hospital, I 3 factories, and 4 med harvesters. I honestly think you would be suprised at how many people are willing to help out in this game. Alot of artisans will survey just because they are looking for something themselves.

I have yet to buy any resources from anyone for anything I can make. I really think that this whole "Docs need survey" is a bunch of crapp. This game is suppose to promote a community, but yet I see more and more solo'er everyday. Sorry to break it to you all, but this game is a MMORG not Diablo. Regardless if they put survey in or not for us (and I really hope that they dont), getting resources for buffs is not that hard, and you all make it sound like its impossible just because you can't survey or harvest meat. I have been a Doc for nearly 7 months now and I'm not have any trouble at all with get ANY resource I need (Except Milk and Mollusk...DOH). So just goes to show you....its not that hard.

As far as your question is buffing fun....it use to be.....before all the little whiney solo'er took over for there little stupid holo grind. Sorry but when people demand that I heal, buff, or cure them....even if money is involved its not gonna happen. I'm not a slave for anyone in this game other than myself, and I don't bow down to demands. So if your not a Doc and your reading this....I strongly suggest you start treating Docs and Medic a tad bit better.....Because I'm not the only one that wont help you if you demand it.

Problem for me is that almost everyone sells buffs in crates of 5-10.. I dont have money to buy all 6 packs in crates and because I dont have the points for full doc (master CM) and I dont like crafting too much I would like to find a supplier that sells individual D enhances with MU of 90 or under.

If theres any such docs here, please post coords to your vendor

Doc's on raidiant where selling packs for 5k. We where paying 10 cpu to 40 cpu for meats. I did the math anddesided not to sell buffs. Well peeps where on thetrade forum about every day looking for buff packs so i desided to try selling my 30c/840ppacks at 10k per pack or 3million for 6 crates.I Sold out in no time. Then some very nice Avian meat 995/935 shifted in. The price got up to 135 cpu on it. I have got right at 300k of this meat and my packs are now 30c/925p and im selling these packs at 15k per pack or 4.5 million for 6 crates. =) but now the Docs that use them are charging 10k for buffs.

He's not talking about Selling buff packs, he's talking about selling buffs.

it is not for me i keep doc so i can res peopel cure disease and buff my self and my buddies but selling buff is not profitanle unless u r a artisin / ranger so u dont have to buy the resorces. but ok selling buffs 5k so u turn one set into 100k but u have to reemberse anything under 1k so u realy only make 90k then u have about another 10 in factroy time so u only make 80k the avean meat for that set costs around 6k the herb meat another 4k so actually u only make 70k all the other resorces will cost lu around 10k so u make 60 k for hours of work

I am a master doc / master carbineer i can do faction missions that pay 7k a pop I do 5 sets of missions than i make more in 45 minuts than i would selling buffs. just wanted to know if most of u who sold buffs where doc/ merchent or doc/ranger. because if money is what u want dont be a doc selling buffs just sell your resorces and meat

i am trying not to flame but ever time i mention i am a master doc or where my master doc tag i get tell hell and i tell every one i sorry i dont buff for money and they think i am crazy but there is just no money in it and there is no money in it un less u charge like 15k or 20k ant that is out ragous. i love this profession but i just buff my self and buddies for free.

Here's the problem. He's only charging 5k for the buffs. Any Master Doc with decent buffs (750+ power), and some good BE clothes, should be charging 10k easy. Otherwise, you're doing yourself and other doctors a disservice.

Get into a supportive PA that helps you out with the resources and pay them in Credits and/or free buffs.

I am getting there in doc slowly 2224 and personally speaking even selling stim b's 30 / 330 ish at 1k a time is still hassle, butthey do seem to sell well, but I dont sell / make that often.

I actually enjoy the resourcing / surveying side if it but ive struggled real hard to make some quite crappy enchance c' packs,whichbufffor 300-700 ish, so I can imagine when I get Master Doc its not going to be easy to make those nice Enhance D's.(although my contact base is growing for resources, well its up to "one" now:smileyhappy

Personally speaking the amount of time it has taken me to get that lot together for the enhance c's im thinking that the price of buffs (decent ones im talking about ie 1k-3k ) from master docs are worth a LOT

more than 5-6k a full set.

Imagine this... someone that can run 2 missions in about 20 mins for about 2-3 k a time with a full set of 1-3k buffs would be able to run maybe 2 missions at 6-7k or more (no crunched numbers here just my approx thoughts) in the same amount of time, therefore making a maximum of 8 k more than he/she could normally do in about 20 mins.

Like I say these are just my lunchtime dinnertime thoughts so doesn't 6k for a full set of buffs look a bit cheap ? Anymore thoughts on this ?

When I buff people or people ask me to buff them, I tell them that I charge either 10k or 1 credit per point buffed. I won't buff someone, unless they're already a friend or a hunter for me, for less than that. When I got into doctor, it was for my first holo profession. I'm now almost done with my second profession, but I'm really enjoying doctor. I help my guild, and they help me. It took me almost 1-2 months after mastering to finally have the ingredients to make what I considered were good quality packs. Right now, I'm finally up to being able to make 890 base/10.5k duration 92 med use buff packs. I sell my packs for 15k on Lowca. In fact, one of the doctors, Hanibal, has 12 experimentation and has a bunch of old avian that is absolutely incredible and he's making 920-930 base/12k duration/89 med use. His packs are selling for 150k per set of all 6 stats, and he sells those out within one day. No haggling, no bargaining, people just pay it.

If you only charge 5k for a set, you're doing yourself a disservice. My customers and friends will pay 10k even though the doc next to me is shouting 6k for a set because they know that I use high quality packs. There's no telling what those guys are using.
