Does anyone know how the absorbtion number will effect a poison after is has landed..?

Im noticing very low absorbtion numbers on most of the pack stats i have seen. Usualy 4 or 5. Now, is this a %, or is this just the amount of poison it will absorb..?

Also, is it a steady absorbtion rate, or a one time kind of thing...

Any help is appretiated.

I find putting any points into absorbtion is useless and making B packs is the way to go. I wish I hadnt hunted down all those rare resources that are going to waste though. I cant help but think that the B packs will be nerfed.

That's the feeling I get, too. The point is to make this a primarily Master Doctor vs. Master CM "war." I think that these A's and B's diminish that, and it appears they're going to reduce "low-end buffs" so that they don't resist as well.

Which is just as well. If people want to get better poison insurance, they should make friends with a Master Doctor. I'm using this week to try and track down those C-level resist resources.

Ok, thanks for the info...

One more question... Since it is an absorbtion rate... Where doesthe"rate" come in to play....

Would the poison be reduced by theabsorbtion % everytime it tics, or just initially?

Thanks again

It's a percent and it's steady. If you have multiple poisons on you, all poisons will be reduced by the absorption percent.

You can experiment this over to over 20 (I'm guessing 25 with perfect resources), so you have to decide if you want to try and avoid the poison (high resist) or mitigate the damage after you get hit (high absorption).

Or you can forget about it and use better, more generic resources in a B enhance pack, which apparently uses the exact same formulas as the C pack, minus the absorption.

not know how is the percent rate but tested one (crap) enhance Disease resist C 110 resist 17 absortion

spended 4-5 point experimenting in absortion and Wylde at Radiant tested it on some cm stuff, the conslusion is the 17 absortion does a damage mitigation around 30% when disease success.

im my opinion is a waste experimenting absortion in the resist diseases C, better go all points to power and duration but on enhance poison C's i hope is better absortion then power, does matter how munch power the buff have, if the cm spam /applyposion finally that get sticked, and a 30% damage reduction or more on a poison tick is good anyways

PS: the absortion is only on two enhancers C

Good question and it's something I didn't test. In most cases, it doesn't really matter (the damage is the same). But if you are using weaker cures (or get stacked with multiple poisons), the absorption applying at application time rather than tick timemight make it easier to cure. Also, if applied at application, the enhance wearing off while the poison is still in effect would behave differently.

It should take a C buff/cure pack to have a chance of resisting/curing a C poison or disease. That is like common sense IMO.

I think absorbtion is important on the poisons as mentioned and the disease is usually low so if your resist and duration are high then your set.

I am also in agreement that B's will be nerfed, make a tom of them and save them for after the nerf IMO, I dont think they can change then after they are produced?

I do like the fact that there isnt a med use experiment line, they did ok with these new meds except making the B's so powerful, my only question now is will we even need them if everyone quits playing CM?

I hope not but just the threat should keep all new CM's away and the old ones will slowly die out sorta like a Nuclear Stand off U may Be a cm but i have 250+ resists or do i? or are ua Cm? It shuld be great like a COLD WAR of sorts.
