Hello all

As a fairly new doctor, i have been buffing for about a month on other peoples buff packs and am now looking to begin gathering and creating my own buff packs.

I have looked through many different guides and stat listings and i know what resources are required, however io am a little confused on 1 point (thus far anyway )

All the descriptions have a percentage attached to them, for example

Enhance Constitution D

Experimental Charges

Charges

66% OQ

33% UT

Ahh, where to begin.

The short answer is that ignoring the Action pack for a second, Avian and Gas do not have UT so you can ignore it. The only controlable thing is OQ for the avain and gas and you will be trying to max them out anyway for power. So in the end as far as charges and resouces go you can just ignore the stats of the Gas and Avain. To really impact the charges on your enhance packs you will need to make a choice on the BEC's to exp charges or power. This will give you about 20 charges on your pack with power exp BEC's or 30 charge packs for charge exp BEC's. (just using round numbers as a average).

I suggest you take a look at Happymob's post from about a month ago. He gave some great numbers for the impacts of the stats on resouces to buff packs. (I think there is a type-o on the duration equation 1200 --> 12000).

DR matters on the duration of the pack, if you want more charges exp all you can on the biocontrollers for charges and then all you points in effectivness after you assemble them, if your 12pts you should have two points left for charges, 10 points you might get lucky and have 1 exp point left.

Generally you want OQ and PE on everything to be as high a possible, DR is a bonus for the duration, and as already stated, action is the only pack if you decide not to use gas and avian, then UT only matters for extra charges.

On any inorganic for other meds, it is the same, OQ andUT are the inportant stats. With organics it is OQ and PE.

IMO, always experiment in charges on your biocontrollers! If you go power your only gaining a few points and losing many charges.

With OQ950 and DR80 gas, it depends on what the stats of the avian you intend to use is. I find that if I average the OQ of my avian and gas are about 1850 and 1400 respectively, I get about 3.1 hours of duration. As you can see, the OQ of your reactive is quite nice, but you will likely end up with packs under 3 hours in duration.

I find that most public patients care about power first and duration second. If you can offer matched durations, then I don't think people would care much if it was 2.5 hours or so.

The direct answer is I'd pass on buying that gas, but I'd probably drop a harvester on it and collect a little in case I find a high DR avian to pair it with.

Yeah we had an avian spawn with 950+ OQ and PE in each, but the DR was 3 !! I matched it with 992 OQ and 500ish gas for 920 enhance packs, but only 2.5hrs duration, I didnt collect this meat because there was another avian meat that I thought to be better over all, it produced 880 packs for 3.5hr duration, my customers liked the 900+ stuff better? It blew my mind to be honest, I would much rather have a better duration, but I guess if your the doc and can buff yourself anytime, the only thing that matters is the power of the buff.
