i got a disease resis buff last night....i went out in correlia and got diseased by a wrix in the first strike....2 hours later....500 wounds.....i know its not supposed to work 100% of the time....but a wrix is a low level creature....should'nt it be able to block at least the first couple disease attempts...
Im not trying to flame the disease packs or anything, i just would like to know what will it protect against....? only Combat medic disease perhaps? oh well...i got the buff for free from a friend..

Nobody has done any testing of these buffs against creature diseases. Since I have never resisted a creature disease in the pre-buff days (that I know of), it's quite possible that creature diseases are unresistable.
There are several ways to control the disease:
- Use TKA meditation (of course you have to have the skill)
- Find a doc (the best way if you can find one)
- Every so often pop a camp (or enter a house or med center) and heal your wounds (assumes it's not a mind disease and assumes you have novice medic and novice scout for the camp)
- Control your battle fatigue. Even if you don't have any medic and can't find a doc, the wounds will pile up extremely slowly if you keep your battle fatigue down. This means seeing an entertainer between missions basically.
Creature diseases are incredibly annoying if you aren't a TKA or doc.
