Greetings.

Last night I was doing Bounty Hunter's Inves IV, and in one of the missions I saw the name of a padawan friend. I told him that and we decided to combat. We are friends and in the case of dying one of us, I could resuscitate he with my alternative character, a Doctor. My bounty Hunter is Imperial and it was not Overt at the beginning of the combat, and my Doctor is neutral (none of us was grouped with anybody) I Killed the Padawan (He allowed me to win hehe) and when I tried to resuscitate him with the doctor I could not do it. The system told me "You cant target this person with the current action." I tried to make /target him first, I tried to make it by means of the radial menu.... and anything worked, it left the same message.

After he was cloned (he lost 200k exp for my blame and for sure it kills me when I enter the game today lol ) I tried to make trade with he and neither I could, the system told me "you cant trade with opposed faction persons" and my Doctor is Neutral and he was not grouped with anybody. Does somebody know why I could not resuscitate him? and why I was unable to trade with him?

Please I need help to avoid that this happens to me another time.

Did the Padawan /consent the doctor?

May not apply - but you also can't rez sitting down - and you don't get a message saying that 'you can't perform this action while sitting', either!

How long was he dead?

theres a timer (like 10-30 minutes) and then he just dies with no reviving possible dont know if that gives a message though.

if they say dont call us w'll call you, keep calling till they break.
That im nice doesn't mean i like you.

Your Doctor is neutral and once engaged in combat thePadawen gains a TEF. Once this happens you see that response you posted. You duelled him which caused this. The game made you the Padawen's enemy. Plus if your both imperial, it triggers the TEF as well, remember a neutral Doctor cannot heal a TEF'ed player.

BTW the Jedi loses 200k per death regardless if he clones or not. All that happens if you rezed him the next time he died and cloned the XP loss would have been 400k not 200k.

The target had been dead too long to resuscitate.

Or somesuch. I have never before seen the message that the poster describes.
