I have recently become a master doctor and I own a small factory on Corellia just outside Coronet. I am attempting to manufacture several basic items (biological effect controllers, chemical duration mechanisms, etc) for buff packs. I want to make the type D buff packs and I have obtained a sizeable quantity of resources to do so already. I already have a number of chems, organics, avian meat, reactive gas, but my luck seems to be stopping there for now. I cannot find a certain Cubirian Steel called Eepa and another type of resource called "agogriba" (I think that is how it is spelled).

I am attempting to use my mineral survey device to find these resources, but I have come up empty on four worlds so far (Lok, Naboo, Tatooine, and Corellia). I reason that either I am looking in the wrong places or that I am not using the correct tool(s) or facilities to harvest these resources. Whatever the case, I am sure that this is not the first time players on this board have had this problem and I hope that someone out there can help point me in the right direction. Thanks for your help in advance.

look on swgcraft.com under current resources. this sight will tell you if and where the resource is, it will also tell you the quality.

Why do you need a particular steel? Inorganic is the only thing you wuld care to use steel for. There are lots of inorganics floating around. If you found the other resources to make good meds so fast- consider yourself lucky. The hunt for resources consumes a lot of a doc's time.

Leaving the game soon, Resources and More. Just South of Coronet at -150 -5530

The current resources link ultimately lead me to a list of resources needed for schematics. I obviously couldn't find what I needed there, so I clicked on find resources. I select the Flurry server and entered Eepa into the names box. It actually showed up as a Talusian Fiberplast (reference http://swgcraft.com/newshowresources.php?name=eepa&class=&server=7&planet=&searchby=p&er=&cr=&cd=&dr=&fl=&hr=&ma=&pe=&oq=&sr=&ut=&sortby=r.name&order=1. It apparently hasn't been available for 21 days, but I went to Talus, hoping to find it with my Gas Pocket Survey Tool anyways. Of course, I came up empty there. It didn't even show up as resource at all. I cannot believe what is going on here. How in the world can I fix this? Do I need to find somewhere else to site my factory or what? What am I doing wrong? The factory clearly states that it must have six units of this component to go to production once I insert the schematic.

No, you just dont understand how resources work. They "shift" every 7-14 days. The resource your looking for is no longer available, and has changed to something else. If you dont have any more of that type of resource, you will have to get something else and make a new factory schematic.

Thanks for your help, everyone! I actually ended up destroying the schematic and fed it a much better one. I can now make at least halfway decent components, but as you will see in a future post, I need to learn how to make better buff packs or I will be poor for a very long time.

swgcraft.com and iootnega.com. Both have excellent resource tracking. iootnega.com is great for docs, cm's, medics cause Agent breaks it down by component. Really nice.
