Thread: Docs vs CM in pvp?
Which can be more offensive as well?

Well as a master of both i will give you my loves and hates of both pvp wise.
Doctor: Loves 1 stat buffs are awesome by far the best skill we get for pvp 2 Rez is great no run back from the clone center and keep overt status, you are helpless for 60 seconds though and if buffed its gone now 3 poison cures are very usefull as poisons can hit a lot of peeps at once and quickly mow down a huge party.. it is almost to the point that you cant do big style raids without multible docs helping out on my server. 4 Status cures are great never underestmate the power of a dizzy cure or a blindness cure ( especialy to oneself there is a lot you cant do while dizzy or blind)
Hates: are stims are hardto use on others in combat do to the chicken with head cut off syndrom most peeps suffer from add that with frozen hams that come with buffs so they dont even realise they are half dead ... and you will be screaming murder in no time (well at least I do)
Combat medic Loves Mind poisons are devastaing in pvp they shut down the othersides healing and special attacks. They currently incap but soon it will be that poisons just take you down to +1 pool points.
2 ranged stims are great you can heal peeps 30 meters away from you with no problem and at the same amounts as the doc stims they just use more to make and when area stims stop being so buggy you can heal a group of peeps for a huge amount.
3 (this is only on test currently) combat medics will get a tend mind damage abilty soon that causes wounds and BF to the combat medic but lets them restore a 400+ mind to someone else.
Hates: 1 The ranged stuff is buggy and gets worse as the battle size gets larger. I mean like you pay the mind cost, mark off a use but nothing happens buggy....
2 It hasnt happened yet but I feal a huge nerf to poisons coming especialy with HUGE abilty to grief combat medics are about to gain with the new poison damage cap.The abitly to keep someone at 1 in all pools and then start tossing diseases is going to get a lot of peeps upset.
3diseases are a tool to grief currently and thats about it.. they are just to slowfor effective combat use especialy when compared to poisons.
4 Poisons and diseases are not all that useful in PVE at the momentthe damage output is too low compared to the averagegun even when you stack area effect poisons with singles...
In closing I couldnt choose one over the other so I have both. They both have huge usefulness inpvp but in differnt ways the doc turns peeps into killing machines the combat medic tosses deadly poisons...
My thoughts on the subject I thinkour corespondent is both doc and combat medic maybe he willadd his thoughts as he is a bit more eloquent than me.
