Hello all

I recently switched from carbinier to pistol and find that there is a HUGE decrease in the time it takes me to get a heal off in combat, now resoning Ican see this as my combat rounds are shorter due to faster weapon speed so my question is would going TKA be even faster?

lol a real doctor only need 1 weapon to kill!

I use my dashing good looks and witty reparte to immobilize mobs / NPCs .... then I shoot them between the eyes with the biggest blaster I have on me.

Hrmm I guess I could use my pet wookies breath...

Hehe ok so any of you actually do any combat? Im kinda wanting to master doc and toss the rest into one weapon, with just a touch of survey *grumbles loudly*

Mainly because I like to heal when grouped but there just something to be said about blowing the head off a gungan and shouting "RUIN EPISODE 1 WILL YOU!"

I use /peace and /burstrun quite a bit!

Many docs use a pistol I think, I know I do as well as most docs I see.

TKA would be fine in terms of speed...

my only concern is as a TKA you will probably be tanking mobs, hence you will want to keep ur mind drain at an absolute minimum. In effect healing as a TKA may make it easier to be mind incapped on tough mobs...

My weapon of choice is my stimpacks and the 19 other people I keep alive.

To the topic's point: I use pistols. In fact I'm a novice Pistoleer and plan on getting master or very close to it as well as master doctor.

Carbines here, I actually like the various state things it can do (not to mention action shot forcing stuff down...I'd use suppression fire since I have it, but it seems that it doesn't work!). HAM drainage isn't that big a deal of course if I'm soloing easy-medium/non mob creatures, because I can always heal during or inbetween kills.

I turn away from a monster and use /medicalforage to moon them.

The problem with going melee is that as a doctor you will be running around alot getting close enough to heal, if you go combat medic with the ranged heals that is decreased. As a pistol you can stillget shots off and move around as needed.
