Hello,
At the beginning of time (release or shortly thereafter) I noticed that I could keep popping items out of crates even when my inventory was full, and the game would let me. Then at some point, it appeared that one of the publishes fixed this behavior so I could no longer overlow the inventory. At this stage, I noticed that when crafting stuff, when trying to get components to craft with, the components in my crafting tool/schematic counted against my inventory.
This created the problem that if my schematic required 6 components (like most of the advanced buffs do - 3 bios + 2 Crdm + 1 Sol.Delivery Shell) I had to have 6 free spaces in my inventory.
Recently, I've noticed that once you put items in your crafting tool, the inventory space got freed up (I think - can anyone confirm this). Well, that's all well and good, but one time I had filled up my schematic/tool only to realize that I needed to craft another Adv Solid Del. Shell. So I back out of that schematic and pick the schematic for ASDS, only to remember that I only had 2 free inventory spaces, and 5 components in the tool. So I peeked at my inventory and it appeared I had lost 2 ABEC's.
Moral of the story - watch out if you are loading up a crafting tool and need to cancel the crafting session - if you don't have enough free space, you might end up losing items. And can anyone else reproduce the same behavior (maybe use some really crapola components for the test)?
