I'm looking for the best droid for healing and med crafting/experimentation. What kind of droid do I need to look at and what do I need to ask for as in what modules(if this is what they are called)?

Thanks,

Oz

Usually, the best sort of droids have either / both a Food and Chemical crafting station (acts as a private crafting station) and a lvl 6 medical module, which means that when you and others are near it, you will be able to heal wounds better than being in amed center.

Hope that helps

Actually, I believe a Level 6 Medical Module offers 95% healing capabilities (whereasa medical center would be 100%). I'm no droid engineer, but I believe you can stack a pair of Level 4 Medical Modules to obtain a droid with 110% healing capabilities.

As far as the frame goes, it really doesn't matter. The surgical droid is supposed to have a "built-in" medical module and I believe it is also supposed to slowly heal those around it (like being in a med center), but, unless I've missed something, neither of those features work. Therefore, a surgical droid is just a more expensive version of a mouse droid - it does nothing special. In order to heal with it, you'll have to insert your own medical module.

Also, if you want somehting you can take into the field, get a probot with medium armor (though the armor apparently doesn't work properly against non-armor piercing attacks right now). In hunts on medium difficulty planets, I always keep my probot out so I can buff or heal a big wound without having to camp and I can craft if we are running between objectives. Over several hunts, the probot has only "died" once (and permadeath of droids is out, so even this is a very minor thing).

Actually, a single lvl 6 med module can be experimented up to 110% effectiveness. I've heard some speculation from DEs that the fact that multiple lower lvl modules stack might bea bug. If you can, get a master DE and go for one lvl 6 that's at 110%.
