You might want to bring somthing like that up over on the GCW forum, too.

as we all know that if there is "magic" in star-wars only select few has it.

in med center you get tef for healing overt or tef player but how would the other faction know you are his temporary enemy without seeing you do that action?

my sugestion is easier in concept than in code.

there should be 2 types of TEF : witnessed TEF and known TEF

if someone covert from an oposite faction sees youdo a TEF something to aid your faction you get a witnessed TEF fora very short time (30 seconds to a minute). the person that witnessed that action can /snitch you and you and them will get aknownTEF(which would work like TEF right now). people healing you will not get TEF so basicly you are a potential TEF.

if someone overt from the oposite faction see you do something to aid your faction you automaticly get known TEF.

this actually give a role for coverts to act as spys.

i also sugest to give /factionchallengeto overt players which is like a dueloffer againsta suspected covert oposite faction players that your only way to declineis to leave spot where it oucured or get a known TEF to oposite faction it should have a lasting efect and should also have a long delay between action timerunless the person doesn't leave and get the TEF . maybe this should be limited to faction bases/ faction dominated cities.

just my 2 credits

Sounds like a lot of work to me Uncle Charlie.....

Really, I think TEF is about the hardest thing to code fairly.

why not just make a warning before you heal someone who has TEF .

make it say "attempting to heal this person will flag you as an enemy oposing faction. Do you wish to proceed with the healing operation?"

I agree that there should be a warning for healing a TEF. I've spent many a times in the med center healing away, and BAM! Death blow. I was like "**edit**?". I didn't know I was TEFed. I didn't know I healed a TEF. I didn't know a TEF was even around. I didn't know any combat was going on! A simple warning, just like "It would be unwise to help such a patient" but with an option to heal or not. But wait... that'll slow the whole process down of healing your fellow comrades in action. So maybe just something above their heads or have their name colored orange or something. So atleast we have a visual clue to see if we'll incure a TEF for healing some random Joe in the Med Center.
