Thread: Medical Crafting Experimentation
I am using high quality materials (all with OQ > 900) and making basic stim bs. No advanced components - just the regular stuff. Before experimentation, I get 19 charges with 134 heals. After experimentation, same thing. I have made tons of stims, and I previously thought it was the low quality/random resources that were the problem. Now I have high quality resources, and still no changes. Here's the kicker ... I gave my buddy a handful of my resources, and he is able to get a better stim. 168 on heals. I am a Novice Doctor with +70 medicine assembly and experimentation. My buddy is just a Novice Medic. I tried different food/chemical tools and even different crafting stations. Still no luck. Oh, and I spend all experimentation points available - usually 8-10 on the final combine.
Help! Any ideas?
Examine your crafting tool. If it has a negative number, THAT'S BAD and is probably why you're failing. Additionally, private (house-bound) crafting stations have ratings like this as well. Public stations, camp stations, and Droid stations are considered +0 effectiveness. Look for +14 in tools and up to about +43 in private stations for the ultimate crafting experience.
Also, I hear that the malleability stat of the material can boost experiment effectiveness.

first off get a good crafting droid, make sure you are NOT around any other crafting droids of ANY type.
NEXT make sure your tool is + points no negative points (examine it)
NEXT and this helped me alot ONLY experiment one point at a time.. try that a few times.. i bet it improves TONSSSSSSSSSSS.
