I was wondering what would be good to have in the Doc skills if I have 41 points left after I get Novice Doc???

Trying to plan out ahead of time and your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

If you want to drop it all into Doctor, that's enough for two full trees and 3 boxes of a thirdbranch (unless you want to go more for diversity than specialization within the Doc tree).

Wound Treatment 4 (you get enhance at lvl 2 and theresuscitate ability at 4), and Med Knowledge 3 or 4 (whatever lets you use the res kits, think it might be 3 already) would be a possibility.

After thatit's a question between speed (Wound Treatment Speed) or crafting (so you're not dependant on other people for your med supplies). For financial and convenience reasons I'd go with crafting - the speed increase is nice, but most noticeable only at Master Doc (another +25, I think).

As a core model, I'd suggest going 0/4/3/0. With those skills, you'll be able to revive players and use the best enhancement packs in the game. That will use up 26 skill points, which leaves you enough to master one of the remaining trees. If you're into crafting, I'd recommend climbing the crafting line as it'll allow you to make some nice stuff, but the best enhancement packs for secondary attributes don't come until Master Doctor. Otherwise, if you're not a big crafter, I'd tell you to master the speed line - it'll give you the ability to cure poisons and diseases.

Just as a side note, I sell meds for a living (and for my own, personal use), and I almost NEVER make any of the items made available in the doctor crafting line except for the ones at the very top. Just about all of the stims are already available to you at Master Medic and the best enhancements are available at Master Doctor (with only health and action enhancements available at Crafting 4). I just point this out because you're not going to be able to craft everything you need without Master Doctor and, when many people learn that, they shy away from crafting altogether in an effort to spend the points elsewhere.

Depending on what you want to do with your character, you can spend the extra 15 points in crafting, speed, or on an entirely different profession. But, I'd strongly recommend gaining Wound Treatment 4 and Medicine Knowledge 3.

Actually, to revive all you need is Wound Treatment 4. You don't need Med Knowledge at all cuz most Res packs are Medicine Use 50 (which you should have at Novice Doc). However, some of the enhance packs and poison/disease meds I believe are higher than that, so you will want Medicine Knowledge to boost your Medicine Use.

It's a matter of doing research into the types of packs you want to do, as well as thinking of how you want to use your abilities.

Areyou an adventurer? TakeWound Treatment 4 definitely, and some Wound Treatment Speed (for Cure Disease and Cure Poison), with maybe a few boxes of Crafting (so you can make your own Stimpacks/Disease/Poison packsfor battle use, or buffing) and maybe one or two in Knowledge (so you can use the buffing/curing packs you make).

Are you going to sell your packs primarily? Then get Crafting, Medicine Knowledge andspend 15 points onNovice Artisan (for surveying and sampling of resources for crafting).

Lots of possibilities for you - good luck!

Even with all this good advice, I'd recommend taking a look at the Doctor FAQ - I've got lots of stuff on skills and sampling doctor there that might help you out.
