I really don't think there are any crafting macros. I'm no macro expert, but I don't think I've seen a way around UI requirements for crafting that is feasible for a macro. (Now,that said, I have seen some really creative hacks in this game by people who want to get around limitations - so I wouldn't be surprised if something exists ) As far as for using several tools at once, if you can do a macro with one tool, I would think that using a carefully planned system of /pausing, you could run 4 at once, but you'd have to experiment a bit with timing. Also, I don't know if /pause times still change regularly, but you'd have to make sure to keep that up-to-date. A few months ago, the duration of a pause seemed to go back and forth between a second and a half second.

If macros aren't possible, my advice would be that if you really hate crafting, you either make the stuff you need as you go, while sitting in the cantina waiting for BF to heal/camping/mind regen or you just plan to buy it. A lot of folks just buy med supplies. You can buy by the crate and make it easy on yourself. If crafting isn't your thing, then don't put any more time into it, its not necessary, unless you need it for your profession goals. Theres plenty of other fun stuff to do.

I personally enjoy the grinding out stims/meds as a break from the other aspects of the game, but I try to keep my time spent diversely too. One of the ways I've made crafting more fun, is to try to experiment stuff up as high as possible. Its not just a simple process, you can make it what you want. I've crafted my way through many skill levels without even really trying to just grind away crafting xp. It just happens as I go. In fact, thats been the easier part of the medical xp to get.

Sitting in the cantina making supplies allows for some socialization, and is a good way to catch up on whats going on around the galaxy and get ideas for more fun to try.

heres the link for the explanation

http://forums.station.sony.com/swg/board/message?board.id=doctor&message.id=9717&highlight=prototype+practice+no+item#M9717

heres the macro

/ui action toolbarSlot21;
/selectDraftSchematic 11;
/pause 6;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;

/createPrototype practice no item;

/createPrototype practice no item;

/pause 3;

/ui action toolbarSlot01

What the last action does is sets off the next macro u should have made up to boot up the next food and chem kit.

Does anyone know why it seems that half the people claim to get /nextCraftingStage to work and the other half can't?

So far I've seen/heard/read theories such as 'sometimes you need a 3rd or 4th /nextCraftingStage in your macro,' 'make sure you're not anywhere remotely near a crafting station,' and 'check your capitalization-ie /NextCraftingStage, /nextcraftingStage, /NeXtCrAfTiNgStAgE, etc' .. I've tried each and every one of them to no avail--I even ran to the middle of BFE Endor to craft! I manually crafted through Medic and Combat Medic and am only missing my last 2 boxes of crafting to become Master Doc but this crafting thing is starting to bore the living h*** out of me. I'm still looking at around 60,000 med crafting exp!!

I've tried every combination through the command line (how I've tested every other macro I've made) but simply can NOT trigger the 'next' button. I've resorted to simply using a pseudo-macro to just launch my crafting station, pick the schematic then have it pause while I manually insert the ingredients and hit 'next' a few times and then it starts the next macro.

Uh, so WE don't want it, and YOU don't want it in for PvP--then why is it still there??

Scowii, I have the same issues as you do (I am a mommy), and to maximize my game time I simply decided to abandon crafting and purchase all my supplies.

This isnt much good if you are master oriented, but I am not a power gamer and could care less about titles and such, so buying what I need suits me best.
